It was a sack that lay on the middle

what could it be? posed a riddle

could it be a bomb or anything harmful

went the mind thinking things awful

being in a state of mind where bombs and guns

come and go, play hide and seek  as if in fun

anything lying down on the road  like that

could cause a fear down the spine like that

the world has become vulnerable to attacks

it is possible for a bomb to be in the sack.
