On Becoming A Mother

This day a few decades back.

I was just out of college,

Right out of my examination hall,

A few months over twenty-one,

Holding my mother”s  hand,

I walked into the hospital.

Biting my lips,

Squeezing my hands,

Trembling with fear

Squirming in pain,

I got into labour.

The Gynaecologist  is  at work,

Engaged in the process,

My mother  pats my head,

As I endure the pain,

While going through labour

It is a girl, cries the Doc,

Nay, it is a boy, calls the nurse,

As the baby glides through

I smile in exhaustion,

While  I  hold my son close .

 He is a pinkish hue,

With a velvety black hair,

His bright big eyes

And dainty lips

Make me swell  with pride.

 The day , this year.

My son, though a man now,

Is still  a babe to me,

I love you  so much dear!

I send my  bounteous blessings

While you  .celebrate your birthday

Miles away from me.

Gunning The innocent

A heartless sprawl,

A wicked prowl,

A  deadly harm,

A ruthless hound,

The Maoists   infringe.

A sudden attack,

A speedy  track,

A severe shoot

A bloody splurge,

The Maoist  ignite.

A gory splash,

A wrenching trash,

A collective massacre,

A blemished debacle

The Maoist incite.

A gruesome  aggression

A terrible  repercussions,

A melancholic sobriety,

A  depressing overture,

The Maoist inject.

A communal flaying,

A communist exploiting,

An arsenal deluge,

The Maoist indulge in,

Gunning the innocent.

Over A Cup Of Tea

Oh! let me tell you,

It is an incessant chatter,

With a haughty banter,

It is  a profound analysis,

With a fiery prognosis,

It is a sincere deliberation,

With an incised proposition,

It is a hopeful  prologue

With an insight dialogue,

It is a decided conclude,

With a thought include   ,

It is a perfect  delineation,

With a scrupulous distinction,

It is an ultimate finality ,

All over a cup of tea.

The Power Of Momentum

To move about,

To work across,

To think about,

To talk across,

You need momentum.

To  enter in

To impress upon,

To  refer  in

To  defer upon,

You need momentum.

To  discuss out

To conclude over,

To access out,

To affirm over,

You need momentum.

To live along,

To stay away,

To stray along,

To hold away,

You need momentum.

To keep afloat,

To renew aboard,

To sail afloat,

To resume aboard,

You need momentum.

A high level momentum,

Makes you fly  up with vigour,

You scale up with fervour

A low strain of momentum.

Enables you   go down with tremor

You slide down with   falter.

Markets At A Glance

It is amusing to read the market trends.

The market was up.

The Euro gained.

The dollar lost its value

Gold  soared

Oil plunged.

Markets  are not steady.

There is little suspicion about greek rescue.

Dollar gains against Euro.

Gold falls.

Oil tumbles.

What is it going to be tomorrow?

It will  be what it was a day ago.

It is so simple ,as all that.

An Ode To Living Together

Living together is fine,

Where thinking aloud is  a fine.

Living together is  fine,

Where acting confident is  a fine.

Living together is  fine,’

Where movement forward is  a fine,

Living together is fine,

Where  effort sustainable is a fine.

Living together is fine,

Where achievement laudable is a fine.

Living together is fine,

Where contentment peaceful is a fine.

Living together is lovely,

As  unity  amongst community  at times is lovely,

Living together is lovely,

As unanimous decision at times is lovely.

Living together is lovely,

As successful entity at times is lovely.

Living together is lovely,

As favourable impasse at times is lovely,

Living together is lovely ,

As collective responsibility at times is lovely,

Living together is lovely,

As mandatory response at times is lovely.

Living together ,

Is living in a brood,

Living together,

Is Living in a herd,

Living together ,

Is living in a manger,

Living together ,

Is living in a crowd,

Living together,

Is living in a multitude,

Up you come in all.

Down you fall in all

An Evidence

Chaos in full force,

Trouble in full swing,

Confusion in full vigour,

Conflicts in full velocity,

An evidence was called.

Going by the report,

Going by the witness,

Going by the circumstance,

Going by the  cause,

An evidence was recorded.

Judging by the merits,

Judging by the source,

Judging by the hassle,

Judging by the  damage,

An evidence  was relevant.

Disturbance got dissipated,

Defaulters got punished,

Destruction got appropriated,

Derangement got arranged.

An evidence became benevolent.
