An Ode To Mosquito

Tiny insect poses a great challenge

A black tiny insect with a stinging bite,

Coming in swarms of regular sight,

Plunging into a delirious plight,

Infecting a serious  freight,

Injecting a  disastrous might,

On the target of every bite.

Eliminating them from every place,

To destroy them without trace,

To control them within a brace,

Requires a  measured pace,

As their occupied space,

Remains a permanent  maze.

The old mosquito net  has little use,

As one or two mosquitoes infuse,

The repellent has become an abuse,

To both man and mosquitoes  profuse,

The cream applied  as a diffuse.

Is  not a sufficient   repulse.

Inventions are there too many,

  Pointing to space and ninny,

No innovations lead to this tiny,

Fleeing the insects to  a  whiny,

Eradicating them wholly,

Poses a tough challenge really.
