Oceanic

Standing on the shore
I look at the ocean
dark and deep.

She flows unperturbed
I admire the sea
wonderful and tenacious.

The tides strike the shore
at moments with force
emphatic in a roar.

The waves recede quick
virtually with a sigh
a sign of exhaustion.

I perceive with awe.
The blue waters warble
a song in enthusiasm.

A teeming life of fish
and whales cohabit
in the unfathomable waters.

Activity is everywhere.
Humanity makes noise
as though it be the one.

Man speculates, rambles
and prattles. The rest
thrive in silence.
