it is true in the sense
that the payer tight lipped
bears a grudge
fails to express his anger
reasons unknown.
The other one feels
happy as if he is right.
The payer’s silence
acts against him
while the gossip runs
that he owes money,
a sordid turn to
his passive resistance.
Strange it looks.
That be how
certain times
distortion of truth
strikes with a force
hurting the innocent.
