I happened to see around,”
‘Go green” banners all round,
In the parched land,
Where there was only sand,
In the dry forest,
Where there was barest,
In the untilled soil,
Where there was no toil
In the pond,
Where there was no sound.
Along the road,
Where there was crowd,
Across the bridges
Where there were barges,
Above the station,
Where there was fusion.
Of carbon and plastic,
To the chagrin characteristic
Bemused , I gaze all about,
Witnessing a contradiction throughout.
Knowledge goes unknown,
As fools become imperative.
Good goes unseen,
As rebels grow disruptive,
Greatness goes unrecognised,
As ignorant claim authority.
Truth goes unaccepted,
As lies pronounce popularity.
Transparency goes unrealised,
As feign proposes 
durability.
Faith goes unlisted,
As infidel creates rationality.
Love goes unthought,
As infatuation kindles sensibility
Getting to know these directions,
Is indeed a juxtaposition.
Aim high,
Think high,
Achieve high,
To everyone’s sigh.
Sit upright ,
Stand upright,
Live upright,
To everyone’s delight.
See well,
Hear well,
Act well,
To everyone’s tell.
Eat little,
Talk little,
Sleep little,
To everyone’s mettle.
Read avid
Write lucid
Express vivid,
To everyone’s deed.
Love all,
Greet all,
Help all,
To everyone’s call.
