The man in him
assumes the front,
Abuts as often as possible
with a mild feign
one of a saintly set up
too good to find fault.
It is as always
others regardless
of age and gender
commit faults
while he stands tall
winking at their shortcomings
He remains a stalwart
advising every other
irrespective of the profession
from a cook to an high level executive.
Feels what he says is gospel
turns furious when they do not listen,
This has been going on
for more than five decades
bossing and controlling
remaining at the helm
just ignoring his fallacies
a wise thing to do, anyhow!
