An Urgent Behest.

The equation goes along

the one not an equal

the other very competitive

the rich outnumber the poor

not often seen in society

if found the wealth strikes

the display is tremendous

open in a way of illumination

in the mode of driving

limousines and chauffeured drivers

palatial mansions and sprawling gardens

an eye capture and a grand living style

juxtaposed with the poor in the surround

where huts become homes in large

their dwelling is meagre in standards

the meals frugal and simple

with nothing much to talk about

the distinction sets in a trend

an obvious one for that matter

a high stylish living on one side

a hand to mouth existence on the other

these leave us gape and wonder

how such inequality arises?

the rich wealthy by inheritance

or by sheer luck or through illegal means

the poor in such sordidness with little to eat

fall into the depth of penury due to lethargy

cause of a gamble, a failure to perform

ill fate or an ignorance in all

know not what brought in the demarcation

exist in the east and west without difference

a situation needs an urgent behest.

The Cheer And Drear

The distinction I see

while I go past the border

the two countries they be

very similar in order

people of multi races

whites, blacks and reds

lands almost the same in base

vast and varied in a sense

the one looks so fresh and fine

the other tired and withered

the cheerful almost now in a shine

the dreary already in troubled waters

as the finance seems to exert pressure

the employment being not a glitter

the whole nation seems to be in a fissure

Well! the” big brother” has become old

not ancient as most lands of the world

been fully spent and in fatigue untold

the country that remained modest and bold

now glimmers with a glow not too gaudy

trends to be healthy and steady

a difference I could behold in all dimensions

seen through as in all infusions.

The culture is centric
there be a difference eccentric
with the attire an idealistic
the diction being distinctive.

There is a demarcation direction wise.
The eastern becomes traditional wise
with the western transforms to modernise
there be not any conceptualization otherwise.

The economy stands on a variation
The currency is in a fluctuation
The high and low causes the friction.
The exchange creates a distinction.

There is a valid demonstration
that of a lovable interaction
gives way to a comprehension
there ends up a delineation.

Goes the world so in a rotation
with the day and night in transmission
the days gather a nomination.
the nights conclude the denomination.

The Dividing Line

Lines are so many
showing up in a vary
starting from north to south
going up and down
lying inclined
all with many dimensions
keeping one in line
chasing the other out of line
falling down the line
but of all line
there is one very special
and very predominant
that of the dividing line
apportioning one group from the other
distinguishing by caste and status
keeping away from one region
shunning the other place
expressing a division
that sometimes results in deviation
leading to fights and violence
that bursts as often
and as early as the summer morning
breaking peace into pieces
and releasing an unpleasantness in fear.
