The breeze plays a tune

could it be the seven swaras

I listen keenly to the notes

the start from the sadjamam

gradually picks up and pauses

as it reaches the middle kanthara

it blows with a sweep and stays

harping on the panchamam

it blows with a niraval

then slowly gains momentum

past the nishadam in a tune

touches the highest shadjamam

tends to play with a fervour

as it reverberates and resonates

lost myself in the flow

knew not when it subdued

went down in the notes

back to the lowest shadjamam

followed by a silence eternal.

I sit in an enclosed room
rather a securely closed house
secure in a sense different
closed in a way equally challenging
Yet I feel insecure
apprehensive rather
scared in a way
frightened in a tone
a stroke here
a beat there
a slam with a force
a slap and a blow
with the blood in my hands
I stand aghast
I stand there at the behest
I stand in a test
it could be for the best
Look, I like a terrorist
Look, I like the one
who killed the guard at Ottawa
who stormed into a cafe at Sydney
who brutally massacred the innocent in Peshawar
Well, in a way, yes
it was seven at one stroke
a striker with a prowess
fearful do I seem
not to prolong anymore
I annihilated seven mosquitoes
altogether in a powerful strike.

have to withstand the plunder

The Heaven

It is going to be heaven
said all the seven
calling it in a note even.
Well, that being clearly seen
they were all in the teens
enjoying thoroughly in keen .
The mirth crossed all stream
with the lot eating the cream
while talking about their dream.
The evening went on happily
with the friends talking gleefully
about their experience in a tone lively .
They had to disperse soon
as there could be seen the moon
promising to meet each other at noon.
The seven had a memorable time
as they are meeting after a long time
talking with no thought of time.
The meeting of friends has become the trend
which is made possible with a send
while mails go through without a bend
taking all to the blissful heaven
