The Way I Grew And Live

The growing up together
the fights and quarrels
the love and emotions
all being seen in a retrospect
turns out to be a nostalgia.

The upper handedness, of a sister,
found all through the formative years.
The anger of a brother as seen in outbursts
expected and unexpected. The scheming of
another, the not so sincere younger one
along with the manipulations of the youngest
kept me at bay. I became an exile.

The trend continues even in advanced years.
They have subdued in force, but, enhanced in character.
I saw them at close long ago. Now, I perceive them from afar.
Astounded at their growth and significance though negative
I remain the same like a sheep in a manger then and now.
