becomes your home soon
faithful you be unto it
never mind your roots
the country of origin has a hold
not too much in the way
the bondage is an affection
not more than that in a play
remember the days you spent
if at all you had lived over there
the adopted one is yours now
you earn our bread over there
provides a shelter to you in short
liberal in its extension
lively in its instigation
well, then be faithful to the land
which had made you grand.
The wrath portends a sway
That be of a vengeance
Carried from times long
That be of the filial hatred
Concentrating on the wealth
The family inherited
Having been divided partially
The least beneficiary nurturing a grievance
That inebriated him for long
Being unable to solve in his lifetime
Passed on to his son
Who being a young man
With the youth in his side
The fresh blood took up arms
Gunning and shooting his cousins
That paved the way for a cessation
Making the town fall apart
Those who support the other one
Became the targets of the affected
That went on for years
People holding a grudge against each other
The patrolling force could do no wonder
Except for a few arrests now and then
A small deviation sowed the way for discrimination
Tearing the town, then the nation on the whole
With the civil war on the anvil
There lay a great danger ahead
Such do the Asian nations
Fight each other without any reason
Forgetting they were good neighbours in the past
Opening their portals to the western military action
Who stay long making much of these petty trivial
Fattening their own nation in the milieu
Impoverishing the fighting nations
Keeping the fingers crossed
and saying it is
bolt from the blue
the governance is trying
to pass over the woes
unscrupulously to the people
raising taxes direct and indirect
banning imports of gold
restricting certain benefits
borrowing heavily

The citizens have done no harm
but elected these politicians
as their representatives
who did represent the electorate
in a way most contemptuous
as of going illegal
by means of enhancing their wealth
depositing huge amounts in distant lands
standing before the parliament
as helpless as they could pose
accusing the predecessor for the despair.
Well, do such persons have a conscience?
Could they come out from the depth of their heart
and say that they are clean and blameless.
They talk absolute blasphemy
and act rot leading the country to hell.
Governance today in whichever country it may
is a fad , a farce and ignominy in play
while the governors are taken by the say
the people are overcome in a way
so the governing and the governed
get past not crossing each other in the gateway
thus the nation succumbs to the ruins in a day
calling for intrusions by other countries in hay
the intruder supporting the opponent in the bay
giving him weapons, man power and money in a tray
making the nation to crumble and suffer without being gay
while the intruder makes good in the slay
ending up in war and turmoil in a flay. 
Had she be born in a different state.
Had not she been born in her community.
Had she been like her five siblings.
Had not she been soft by nature.
Had she been wedded into a reputed family.
Had not she been forced to come out of it by virtue.
Had she been a little authoritative and demanding.
Had not she been languishing in fear and trial.
Had she been firm and vociferous.
Had not she been accommodative and demur.
Had she been independent and strong.
Had not she been too much docile and friendly.
Had she been an active performer..
Had not she been a silent spectator.
Had she been decided on realising her ambition.
Had not she been too involved in raising her children.
Had she been successful in winning her share.
Had not she been crest fallen to have lost her rights
Had she been a hard nut to crack.
Had not she been flexible to the other’s call.
Had she been serious of her pursuits.
Had not she been thinking of her disputes .
She would have become a writer of standing.
She could have clinched many an award of fame.
It is had she been and had not she been in a Hamletian trace.
