The Feeding Bottle.


The feeding bottle just before me

cleaned and sterilised

gleams and glows  with glee

the milk in pure white is pasturised

warmed and filled  to the brim

the baby sucks the milk to a level

pushes the bottle aside firm

sleeps contented in a revel

wakes up not for a few hours

the bottle undergoes the cleaning

lies ther in the table in covers

the baby gets up noiselessly

crawls through in a speed

picks up the dust stealthily

the particle is  an one more feed

the sterlization  turns irrational

as indeed the dirt  becomes radical

The Voyage Through The Sea.


The voyage lasted a couple of days

being on rough seas in a way

the ship tossed up and down

the men cast a frown

the intestinal upset was felt

had to be medically dealt

the weather continued to be turbulent

the sailors had a feel of flatulence

they had to endure  anyhow

as they had no other go

the sea locked up in storm

had lost its charm

the expedition had turned risky

have to wait for the weather balmy

the sailors looked at each other in panic

the ship suddenly came to a static

gloom descended setting a qualm

unexpectedly the sea became calm.

The Eve Of Diwali


The eve of the festival

there is a celebration

the rush in transport

being in trains and buses

overwhelm with  the crowd

roads see heavy  thoroughfare

vehicles ply up and down

children on the way to meet the parents

parents await the arrival of their offsprings

go to pick them from the railway stations

others to the bus stations all agog

few to the airports to receive

beinghappy Diwali a celebration of splendour

illumination with oil lamps adorn the houses

the crackers explode and there is mirth all around

a beautiful evening all the more

with  love sealed by gifts

with blessings renewed with presentations
