Her smile has left her forever
her face is in a quiver
see no brightness whatsoever
it is long and forlorn all over.
Why has she turned so dull?
her face was always full
brilliance was her strength in all
now she draws a null.
Wonder, what has happened?
could it be a mishappen?
that has dampened
know not what is rampant.
It was a day dull
it was not full
but had a tendency of a bull
a controversy raged high
voices went up the sky
none was shy
the hours passed
the tussle continued
sat there watching the melodrama
as the rays of the gamma
then came a silence
deadly in an abeyance.
The dull weather around
little sun and little warmth
very sultry at times
humid all through
calls for a walk around
Walk to the aisle
stand there for a moment
look across the garden
that seems duller still
leaves droop and grass dry.
Return to the patio
sit there with a book
peruse the pages
they appear dullest of all
push the book away .
Lie down on the bed
eyes stuck to the roof
a picture traverses the mind
very prosaic and uninteresting
slumber escapes in a way.
The dull I say
abounds and overwhelms
sadness descends slowly
know not why it happens?
an uneasiness prevails all day.
Dullness takes hold
with a strong fold
making me crapped
and totally trapped
brooding over
with eyes lower
tapping my forehead
walking in tread
stretching my arms
losing my charm
finally retiring to bed
as I have nothing to do
instead.
Bringing to the desk
every other poet’s saying
bidding to live as said
makes one dull and disinterested.
A poet is a creative genius
coming on with his experience
never compelling us to take forth
his sayings as gospel truth.
It is his platform to pour
his thoughts and feelings
a spontaneous outflow of his emotions
that had and has helped him
unload his thoughts in detail
adding colour and a feel
enhancing the read and delivery.
Confronting him at this juncture
interpreting his words
with different connotations
and coordination from the original
lends an agonistic infringement.
Nothing is coming to the mind
Nothing is keeping the mind active
Having set across to a find.
The mind has to turn proactive.
There is an unusual lull
Keeping one away from the busy schedule
Is it because the mind is not full
of thoughts and actions in the preclude?
There is an unusual inertia
The physique is subjected to high fever
causing a pull out from the criteria
The mind undergoes a prop up by an external lever.
The stimulation leads to a sensational delivery.
Needing an insinuation to spurt up
The thoughts then gather and grant a reverie
resuming the lively therapy in a close up.
