The D series

makes me serious

away it throws

with a force

a lot of qualities

being a rarity

as men go weird

and tend to get fed up

slip and fall all the more.

The one being development

calls for an achievement

a progress on all sides

holding nothing in an abide

the personality blooms

the character looms

integrity and culture

the interaction and character

the execution with poise

include all the choice

development argues

could be found in not too many.

Being so of the human race

development augurs in all fields

indicates a promotion in policies

and incorporated in the schemes

whereas countries indulge in economic advance

could also be found in education

wherein and where not development not plays

the word itself holds  magical powers

well enough to confer showers.

Duty—- An Enhancement,


I have to do.

I must do.

I should never fail.

I should  complete

the sensation so pressing

being an  urge all the more

very much from the heart

is  the duty to the core

The will  and wish to do

the necessity to perform

more to it,  not in an obligation

but on  the requirement

called as “duty”

being more in one

the filial duty, the parental

the moral, the political,

the administrative, the social

all demand a commitment

so much with an expectation.

any failure would be deemed

an aberration not simple

complicated and complex

leading to a showdown.

Duty leads to distinction

the perfect alliance in the go

whatever might be the reason

never fail from your duty

an advice to all in general

as the drop out would

strain the relations

cause havoc in the administration

create a dent in social  outlook.

By far “Duty”  makes you glow

being duty conscious would extol you

render an exhilaration and an enhancement.

would bring  a result unexpected

new ideas would crop up

proposals would find  the light

could turn a resource

Destruction—-A Painful Phenomenon


Destroy being a forceful ploy

the bringing down of buildings

the shooting of  the human

the spoil of the beauty

the devastation in all

a syndrome of the negative

found in plenty

seen in almost every strain

the destruction as it goes

seen physically as in the cases mentioned

found unseen in the stages not marked

be that of  a longitudinal effect

an oppressing move as exhibited

the tremor and the quake

the tsunami and the storm

engulf and gulp

gobble and consume

almost everything on the scene

trees, living beings and land mass

create a destruction unprecedented

that being the fury of Nature

coming  to the man made

the unmindful shoot outs

the unwanted massacre

all too gory and blood stained

cause a havoc around

making living an issue

Could that demolition by man end?

Could  the social animal behave decently?

if that could be enforced

many deaths and bloodshed

anguish and pain felt

would be dissipated  soon

the world would relish the peace

peace on earth

and goodwill towards men.

Delivery———A Network In Synergy.


You deliver in many ways

as delivery has hundreds of forms

one being vital of all

going with the creation

another delivers a child

not an easy job to quote

the trials at the time of birth

the tribulations much before that

about a ten month stay in the womb

along with the nourishment and prenatal care

all too much for her in the regular

accompanied by the after care

looking after the baby and taking care

the sleepless nights one undergoes

the feeds, the time and the bringing up

all takes through with a concentration

well, that could be a delivery all the more serious.

Then the turn on delivery is postal

the letters brought forth to the table

comes on time with news relevant

irrelevant might be the letters to an extent

yet it induces an anxiety great

the wait for the postman at the door

the hurry to open the fold

contribute to the fascination

have slowly died down

with the  advent of e-mails

so far for the delivery known

there being many unknown

the exchange of lovers

through secret channels

the delivery of goods and baggages

all being done through the cargo

be they in the mode of air or land or water

thus goes the word “delivery”

The way one lives

the say one has

the play one does

the culture one displays

distinguish him one from other

a line subtle differentiates

going through life

we see the ups and downs

ups make us happy

the downs suppress us

we cry and struggle

yet we come out of it

some do it shabbily

a method not appropriate

entering into a controversy

indulge in fights

and wordy duels

others face it grimly

stoic they are

get through the rough  patch

patiently they endure

slowly they emerge out

A lot of adjustments

they are distinct in their  moves

make them distinguished

honourable as in all

revered by all

qualified for the distinction

strong and sustainable.

Distraction———A Standard Deviation


I was amidst a crowd

heard none of their bustles

I am in front of the Television

see none of its programs

I have a book in my hand

turn pages but read nothing.

I talk to my friend

talk I without knowing

I drive through the traffic

see nothing in front

I cook my food all the days

mechanical it seems to be

I live all the years

focusing not on one action

it be called a distraction

having not a follow

seeing not keenly

hearing not  with a wish

observing anything at all

a  deviation is there all through

might be I am not interested

sure, the fascination holds you

sure, the love keeps you glued

if not you are away

your mind is somewhere else

your body is present

it happens to me from time long

even now when I am writing this song.

Diet————A Direction


Diet is a factor in essence

causes a fitness to the whole

lends an immunity to the body

a well-being to the entire system

being conscious of the diet

makes you a healthy person

strong and sufficient in strength

lively and mobile  in all terms

a regular one rich in iron and calcium

one with vitamins and oxidants

be it a simple one but wholesome

the form of oats, rice and cereals

splattered with fruits of all kinds

mustered with vegetables of all varieties

along with the dairy products to supplement

milk, cheese, butter and ghee

might also include meat, beef and fish

pork and chicken to add with

along with eggs and others

I might go astray in those not vegetarian

have been not familiar with them

they too contribute to the welfare

though lately they are considered unnecessary

apart from restricting them

a total abstinence from alcohol

a refrain from smoking

would take one a long way in prosperity

a trouble free life in general

of course with bouts of cold and fever

not much more than that

every human is prone to such ailments

a watch on diet keeps you hale and healthy.
