Eateries Down My Road


My neighbourhood was a calm ,area some fifteen years back.

I was one of the first to settle in this suburb.

But mow it is a s crowded as a road in the centre o the town, with shops , banks, departmental stores ,apartments.

We were only three in our road  during the eighties.

Now we are three thousands.

As the suburb lost its serenity and solitude, it assumed a look of a mini town.

The first visible change ,I deciphered was the eateries which came up one by one.

A little away from my home, there is  a chef who prepares soup, both vegetable and mutton.

Soups  are starters in a posh hotels.

The wayside  also extends  food in par with high-end restaurants.

A few yards from my house, there came up a mobile eatery .

It specialised in medicinal pancakes (puri).

The puris are made by grinding soaked raw rice along with spinach .The various spinach used are thuthuvalai, mullu murungai, tulasi. The ground batter is made into small circles which are  fried in oil.This puri is good for cough and cold.It clears the congestion .

 AT the next stop , some hundred yards  away, we can find a mobile van with stoves, providing vegetable rice, raithas, chicken sixty .

Down the road ,we can also find petty vendors selling  steaming idlis,  hot parthas, sizzling dosas,all prepared on the spot They are piping hot and  tasty.

So ,a stroll down the road will  appease the hunger,while extending a delicious menu both homely and cost savy.

The experience is one of thrill  .

Society,Socialism, Socialising.


The society is a group or community that behests attention, that requires cooperation ,that inducts  comprehension, that allots communication.

The society is a collective expression of individual thoughts and gathered exposition of each one’s spirit.

The motivation that drills the mind is that of oneness and  a wholesome  presentation.

 

Socialism,is a beautiful concept that is misunderstood, that is most misrepresented, and that which is most practised in a deliberate digression.

It aims at distribution through individual  production efforts.

 

Communism  the extreme form has found a popular support.

The significant assumption of  communism is  not constrained by economics but keeps under its sway politics also.

Its aim is statelessness and classlessness.

Capitalism  is an economic system  which  professes  private ownership.

Socialism ,thus is a harmonious combination of capitalism and communism.

Socialising is an interaction.It has its limitation .

An excess of it leads to trouble.

Too much socialising results in a clash of egos , of morals, of beliefs and of distinctive styles.

The unique style of an individual gets diffused 

He may turn out to be a go getter.

He may work on social events with understanding.

But his  presentation becomes common.

He is  one among many.

 

 

The society that brings about socialism and causes socialising should have a limited scope in an individuals preference.

A Man should rely on himself, while adjusting in a society.

A Man should follow the ideologies of socialism without hampering his self.

A man should indulge in socialising by keeping him above any remarkable manifestations.

Society above self, strikes the chord.

Mind you ,society should never outbreak self.

The nation And The Leader.


Imagine a body without a head.

How will it look?

It would look awkward, gruesome, and frightening.

So a nation without a leader, would look awkward ,in the sense , it has no direction.

The exhaustion evolves a nothingness ,which signifies a deliberate drag.

 The terrifying part emanates from  indiscipline.

The man, who assumes importance ,should be careful, considerate and correct.

The three c’s go to establish leadership.

A slight destabilization of status corrodes the framework.

A little harshness sets a combustion ,that wrenches progress.

A small outward creates a deficit that is hard to be replenished.

Yet Leaders of Nations ,do not orient themselves in caution and harmonious perfection.

Thus the Land ,which they rule ,is a place that seeks firm security, but   is unluckily deprived of it.

Mind In Itself


Mind is the great go getter.

Any achievement is possible with a  mind in its place.

A slight distraction spoils the sport.

A little deviation destroys the focus.

A total withdrawal reverses the trend.

So , a resolute mind is the essence of any success.

A   disproportionate  approach  is the cause for failure.

As matter stands so, the nourishment of the mind goes a long way in  recording triumph and revealing victory.

 

A serious bent of mind is termed as sober ,reserved introverts.

A light easy go inclination is dubbed as jolly , light headed ,happy persons.

The introvert is mostly misunderstood.

The serious man , goes about his work ,uninterrupted by pranks and truancy of the rest of the clan.

His goal is work, and his query is how to accomplish the task meritorious?

So with unflinching courage and undaunted spirit he fulfills his task.

He ends up as a top performer.

 

The case of the easy go lucky differs  from the sullen  programme .

He takes things as it comes.

He works with less concentration.

His assignments do not claim credit.

His faculty is not sharpened by wit.

He does a slipshod performance ,that lacks merit and admiration.

 

 

A dull mind creates a different assumption.

There is nothing practical, nothing admissible, nothing appreciable .

The presentation lacks character.

It is a drab.

 

A gloomy mindset staggers a confused  diagram.

It is one of maze, one of turmoil, one of shoddy sketch.

The creativity gets discoloured and there is excess sorrow and enormous struggle.

 

The mind in itself can make a heaven of hell and hell of heaven, leading to glory or disaster , as the things reckon.

Religion -A Deliberation


Religion is a word that has been misused or rather abused to a large extent.

It is a subject ,like any other,.

Mathematica, Science, Languages are subjects  which are excellent in their own format.

So also religion or theology .

This particular course has   got a prominence over all the related studies.

Why?

What for?

  

Let us go an inch below the surface.

Mathematics has its own branches, such as Arithmetic , the most basic one, followed by geometry, Algebra, trigonometry, Statistics, Astronomy, so on and so forth.

The fundamental Arithmetic is taught right from the initial classes.

The numbers are the first lesson ,while addition ,subtraction, multiplication and division come later.

The understanding o numbers ,or to the more constructive, the deciphering of the numerals is the vital aspect in the learning.

A jumble up of the preliminaries lead to a confusion.

After mastering the basics ,you advance to the higher levels.

There is a teacher to guide you , to make you learn to write.

Similarly theology is a form that branches into various constituents, as Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism  and Jainism.

The core indicator of religion like the numerals, is that you  have to be pure, sincere and speak truth.

The rest is an elaboration of these ideals.

Hinduism ,the ancient religion, abounds in scriptures, like Vedas and Upanishads, epics like Mahabharata and Ramayana, and teachings likeThirukural and Gita.

Hinduism is a discipline, which directs us to live a life of contentment.

So also Christianity , which goes a step further by pronouncing do’s and don’s .

Islam is a still stricter form of discipline that propagates severe punishment for the misdeed.

Buddhism and Jainism , the later incorporation  , are  the way outs of the vast Hindu formula.

As such this conduct of life has been misconstrued and misunderstood by the entire populace.

Unable to cope up with modern hectic speed, Man seeks quick relief and fast remedy to come out of their depressions.

This hastening and impatient designs have paved a way to a breed of God men, who in the garb of  saints , indulge in discourses, interpreting the acclaimed faith , as they like, as they understood, as they organise.

They ,playing  on the gullibility of the people, craftily amass wealth, property, and live a kingly life.

They successfully eke out a group, which goes behind  them with blind fait and implicit obedience.

This trend has been gaining strength ,even in the era of technology ,where logic  and questioning  are the essential practices.

I conclude that there are two ways to look at a things.

One is to see, accept and acknowledge.

Another is to admire, reverberate and  eulogize.

Nature Legalises The Illegality


The natural disasters ,all throughout in the last few years ,is a terrible mandate cast by man’s insane radicalism.

The Chilean earthquake a couple of days back is of 8.8 magnitude.

The Haitian quake gobbled hundreds of thousands of people. a month back.

The Indonesian disturbance devoured thousands  a few months ago.

The floods also added to the misery.

These disasters forewarn the habitants of a further dangerous perils ahead.

If not taken seriously , a wash away of mankind is almost a reality in course of time.

The mourns and wails make us dizzy.

The cry and grief turns us melancholic.

The sobs and disaster render us mute.

yet life goes on.

The attack of nature is a reciprocal  to man’s misdoings.

His unmindful destruction of forests, unlawful reclamation of land from the sea, unjustifiable pollution of water sources, indistinct effort to castigate the legal ramifications have driven  Nature to act in vengeance.

Yet life goes on.

The seemingly visible reinforcements to protect nature are but a real chivalrous  momentum of reluctance.

The grand eloquence  displayed in summits and conferences is a bombastic preface that need real enforcement.

The indulgence in manipulating a string of chaotic  accentus to the harmony has struck Mother Nature with a strong blow,that a minor friction to the regular relation causes a terrible annihilation.

Yet life goes on.

The imprudent discoveries ,the unnatural inventions, the artificial impregnation, the violent turn from the accepted  norms  have marred the peaceful existence.

Yet life goes on.

 

The tortuous deeds, the polluted emissions, the usurping inclinations, the frivolous masquerades, the infirmities , the treachery, the ambiguity, the suspicion , that rule the land have bitten the equanimity of the natural environment.

Yet life goes on.

No attempt to reinstate the lost complacency is to be found.

No effort to reinforce the  principles that govern nature  is to be tracked.

No allurement to fatten tha already skinny bag of bones that dominate the world in its entirety is to be traced.

A shudder passes through the spine.

Nature is taking its toll.

God forbid!

Stunts  Gimmicks,  find the  day’s  shine

A humbug and impudence  create an outward galore.

Empty talk and haughtiness make a furore.

Thus being the situation,the world at large is being tremendously rocked by ostentation and snobbery.

The Health summit is an evidence of such enactment.

The environmental summit a few months back is another illustration of such  debatable

designation.

The time spent over these issues is a colossal waste.

The expense incurred towards  conducting such seminars is exorbitant.

Have we to indulge in such extraneous devices ,when there is global recession?

Controversies foreshadow truth.

Arguments destroy facts.

Criticisms scatter hostility.

Contentions eject apprehension.

Lawyers get paid by their clients.

So they indulge in making distortions of ethics.

They convert  cold lies into hot factual.

They sell their integrity for  money.

They have to engage in such determinate proxies to keep their hearth burning.

There are  few counsels ,who honour their profession by not accepting such dubious cases.

As all good things could be numbered, this breed of advocates are  only meagre.

A lawyer ,whom I know , values money more than his profession.

He takes up the side which  has powers , knowingly or unknowingly  posted on them by their fathers.

The particular clan  crackles law, stumps truth, bowls  ingenuity .

To protect them ,they reach out to our lawyer, who responds to their call with great enthusiasm

The lawyer on topic , has forsaken not only his profession, but also his conscience.

Instead of advising them to work on meritorious execution, fuels their venom with his indiscreet   talk.

By fanning their greed, he gains.

Th e monetary sphere claims superiority that the matter enters the court.

Unnecessary  defects do occur , spoiling the sport .

The tranquillity expires due to such deceits .

The stimulus package relieved the sinking companies from failure.

A good proportion of the tax payers money comprised  the bail out.

The economy slightly deviated from the fall to  look north.

The strain  experienced during this refreshing period  was  hectic.

The turmoil felt  while undergoing  the convalescence  was a discouraging  redundancy.

But before the tears could dry up, there happens an unexpected distraction .

It is that of disbursement of bonus to the executives of the companies which have utilised the aid by the way of stimulus.
