Billboards defy Man
they are incorrigible
in their ways and means.
They induce Man
to buy the unwanted.
a dire consequence.
Eliminating them
will make the world
resemble Heaven.

There She Be.
Not a fairy, mind you
not an angel to see through
a tall lanky figure
features not so exciting either
not found poise rather
with that grace goes missing
she being so in tone and texture
behaves superciliously 
in society
as though she is a leader
demands and delivers actions
delivers and decides on schemes
nothing there be much of worth
hurls unwanted remarks with pungency
many a one want to retort
but resist themselves from involvement
works to her advantage very well
as she glides with an incorrigible flair..

The Hot Afternoon
It is a hot afternoon
the place is like an oven
washed clothes dry up in a second
totally humid and intolerable.
The birds try to chirp
refuse to chat and fly
as they cuddle in their nest
unable to see the bright sun.
The people dare not venture out
apprehensive of the sun stroke
refrain in their homes
afraid to face the incorrigible dazzle.

The sun unmindful of its power
shines with a bewildering excess
tarnish the grass and the skin
with equal strength in a fiery glow.
Burning the midnight candle,
the girl was reading aloud,
memorizing the portions,
with or without understanding,
as on tomorrow she writes the examination,
it is a three-hour ordeal,
that sets her career,
the marks she scores,
would lead her in life,
well, it is the marks ,
that call for attention,
it is not the comprehension,
that shapes her future,
it might sound natural to all,
to me it is avidly alien,
it sounds incorrigible and unpleasant,
it tastes exclusively bitter,
it is the way of life, they quoth
anything other is an anachronism,they feel,
so, I stand out: an odd woman out.
