The End Of “M” Series.

The “M” came with a bounce

on and off it spurted out

with the more and most

along with mild and mystery

beginning with the mind

followed by the loving  mother

the “M” gave me a week long  work

I did not spend much time  on deliberating

as I for one write comes to my mind

put my thoughts in words

go through them on occasions

edit with not so much of a precision

an exercise I do with less pain

if at all, I do a careful check

would have to delete half

so I leave the words to find their fate

they enter the world as soon as they are born

go through the critical evaluation

a travel of great value and readership

hoping one day I would be acknowledged

the “letter-mcovered various subjects  with skill

Mystery —–Unassuming It Is.

It is mysterious

very confusing

unpredictable

unable to delineate

impossible to  attribute

clueless and alarming

the happening is frightful

how many adjectives

how much of  feelings

I could add and express

the “mystery” makes me shudder

I could find no reason

the night when it took place

signals a shudder  and a panic

the sound like thunder

emanated from nowhere

the articles on the table

fell down one by one

the ground seemed  to quiver

could hear the footsteps

they came  so close

could not see the figure

the door bell rang  incessantly

I sat there dazed without a move

my eyes  still and my hands frozen

a terrible, horrendous event

turned me into a stone

motionless and terrified

after a few minutes  pause

the noise ceased, the ground was firm

the articles got back in place

normalcy resumed.

a”mystery” has come to an end

knew not from where it startedmystery_by_ellixus-d5tcukf

why did it start?

and how did it end up?

unravelled till this day.

a malicious indifference.

Mild ——— A Subdued Flame.

It is so soft and  nice

so simple and cool

so good and sober

not so hot but tempered

there enters the word “mild”

a silky word, I feel

looks so in  the tone

felt so even when not touched

“mild” does not provoke

nor does it ignite

for that matter not stimulate

never does it incite

maintains the tempo

keeps you going smooth

mild being the kindliest word

the mild weather is comfortable

the mild temper soothes

the colour mild pleases

the voice mellowed in mildness

exuberates and enhances

the mild an antithesis of  ferocious

an opposite of anger

a contrast of gaudy

contrary to arguments

a flexible, gentle nature in all

could be acclaimed as “mild”

the word bears the torch

glows with a subdued flame

yet spreads light all over.

More And Most———- Simply Grand

eb1cfbf58f5315f711498b58962c8709“More” and “Most”

come foremost

the much-used words

one being the comparative

the other the superlative

“more I like you

the more you hate me”

shows the proportion of like and hate

an equation of algebra

beautifully illustrated

“More”  quantifies

I want some more

could be of food, drink

chocolates pointing to the ordinary

jewels, money, and wealth

indicating not so ordinary

with greed underneath

requiems a sense of want

some  more and some more

could be heard   from all quarters.

“Most”  shows saturation

has so many prefixes

utmost and almost

add to the charm of the word

with “most” enters the level of fulfillment

sufficiency is the essence

giving the best at all times

looking extremely beautiful

sumptuous and delicious

grand and grandeur

all go behind “most”

the negative connotations

could be described

with a vehemence

with an emphasis

using the word ‘most”

these two words are common

greatly deployed in almost every way

by the old and young

even by the illiterates

familiar words  very easy going

always  pronounced  with an accent.

The Mosquito ——- A Menace

Mosquito, the little insect

black and small  in size

breeds in marshy tracts

multiplies  in millions and billions

barges in like an invasion

bites the inmates then and there

extends  various  forms of epidemics

dengue one such fever

chicken kunya  another strain

malaria severest form

all too much to bear

dies in a few days

imposing a havoc unprecedented

that be the honour of mosquito

whose entity is tiny and micro

whose effect is gigantic and macro

as such I find  one such sitting on my hand

about to bite with its tongs

I give it a slam so  harsh

it falls down dead on the floor

leaving behind a trace of blood

sticks to my hand in slight   degrees

thick and red  the blood looks

could be from the previous bite

who knows from wheresoever.download (52)

It is rain

The “Might ” And The “May”———- Non – Committal Resonance.

“Might” or “may’ cross then and there

provoke a sensation of doubt

might happen, might rain, might do

all come without  a clue

may come. may go,  may  escape

turn without an end

relative they sound  with a note

a tendency to evade or avoid

a slippery attribute in a way

non-committal  in all respects

the “might ” and “may”

make me  always gay

could be because they render

a gentle way out from the situation

a solution though not definite

a jump out of the criterion

a categorical process to leave

go ahead in a style  soft

the words give a voluntary  revision

a stealthy mode to  deliver the reality

without any pain or hurt

I might find the lost one soon

I may join you tomorrow

a note of hope and wellness

accompanies the reply

extended without any promise.might and may

Must ——A Compulsory Factor.

“Must: initiates a compulsion

have to do is forceful

a rule rather in the run

could not escape or slip in excuses

must do is a rigorous discipline

follow it up with a vigour

you have to rather

a discipline plays the role

never you could look for a loophole

like it or not you have to do

that be the “must” in all

ascribe anything more

could land on nothing more

well, that is the nature of the word

a strict adherence to the detail

an uncanny attitude to the minute

the “must” comes with a bang

dare to evade it at any time

have to face dire consequences

cases could lead to a punishment

might  put you in imprisonment

deviation would lead  to problems serious

beware of the word “must” at all times

follow it with no distraction every time must

you would enamour all with a chime
