A Cherished Deal


the good is easy

the bad is uneasy

life contains both

essential to growth

as good grows

they come in rows

bad waters down

they commit a frown

except, not the best always

there is a case

where the good suffers

the bad prospers

this could be not real

it is only a  trial

the finality differs

the good is preferred

picks up the colour rose

the bad loses its hue

turns pale and leaves no clue

good achieves greatness late

bad grabs fame  not late

a sermon  this  would seem

I do it with a beam

as I undergo such  ordeal

never snatched a good deal

never claimed a bad one too

wait I eagerly for  a cherish.cherished deal

Romance —— An Insight.


The emotion  invariably rules us

be that of love and romance in plus

if the insinuations  stand the test of time

the capabilities are adjudged as true

the transitory could be an infatuation.romance

Romance is abstract

as that of pain and joy in track

the body experiences these

while the mind undergoes a cease

there blossoms an exalted  fervour.

Romance is a flirt

the immediate draw is a divert

fundamentally  on features  physical

could evolve a reaction chemical

could  relate to trends diabolical.

Romance is an exhilaration

could be out of devotion  or dedication

piety in a way is a romance

ethereal love is also a romance

these range in a region sublime.

I Demand A Rebate.


I wrote a poem very simple

about  the revenue and its source

could, not a cause a ripple

it turned an unexpected resource

mayhem broke loose  extensively

words flew in a rage intensely

a note of genuine  appreciation

brought in  uncalled depreciation

one not able to accept another’s prowess

cried foul  with venom in excess

unwanted remarks came from the one

who fumed and frothed in tons

I stood aghast  for a while

well, that is not my style

put an end to this ugly controversy

warned her  of the consequence

declared my objection in a sense

hope it would put an end to the debate

otherwise, I should demand a rebate.controversy

To the boil

came a foil

in an untold toil

not from the soil

but from the coil

the fire broke out

spread in and out

went up in sprout

it was a rout

with that came out

an expected fall-out

the man stood stout

walked as if he had a gout

had a  big doubt

could not clear it out

so  went back  home.

That being a revenue

comes not from one venue

pours from different avenues

hard it is to review

harder still to view

Could it be from a fair source?

what could be the resource?

the mind prods and probes

unnecessarily it debates

knowing the revenue is illicit

the restlessness requires no elicit

leave it as a chaff in the threshold

go about with a freehold

as you have lots to do in genuine

and lot more to execute in sanguine

I Write With Fear.


I write with a fear

a fear that  builds  up

as I get near

near to publishing

I publish with the same fear

a fear that keeps nagging

Once published I fear

a fear that makes me not sleep

Well, the response  causes a fear

a fear that I should not be condemned

So many fears surround me

while I start to write

not enough still to restrict

me from writing till.write without fear.

The Solar Energy Derived By Womenfolk


The sun rises high  nowadays

the households get busy each day

small balls of finely chopped onions

look like red shining minions

when sauteed with salt, chilly and dhal

laid in neat sheets under the sun

a preparation for the year

followed by rice wafers white and  clear

the indigo brinjal slices come up

with yellow mango slices  joyous to sup

many more delicacies get done

the processes are in a way fun

in  practice  makes use of solar energy

long back consumed by our womenfolk in synergymango slices

The Gooseberry


An episode I recollect

makes me both happy and sad

it is one of my childhood  in fact

about  the gooseberry both good and bad .

Gooseberries bloom in December

relished by  all, old and young

the salted ones take the cue of amber

while being delicious  makes one strong

Gooseberries are  a storage of resources

replenish vitamins and iron profuse

the small round fruit is silky, not coarse

hard for anyone to refuse.

Gooseberries represent a quality  less

not too enjoyable  as the one  physical

referred to a muff and the brainless

know not how this came into being.

That day in school long years ago

a friend of mine broke down all too sudden

as a reference had hurt  her ego

interrogated her  to know the reason.

After a time, she came out

in between her sobs said with a whimper

she is a gooseberry all throughout

as to her dearest pal’s quote

Gooseberries that command merit

play this role in the abstract fare

there are two sided to the coin  of credit

A Confession Unexpected.

it is a swear on God nevertheless

says a brother to others around

has not  cheated  his sibling in  any round.

Does it not sound meek or  a tone down?

I deliberate with a frown.

Why this change of mind so sudden?

is it a the release of the burden?

As I go with such thoughts

remember how they fought

not so much in the younger days

much in their fifties in continuous  stays

not face to face as you would assume

in courts  beyond any presume

day after day, month after month

their lawyers argued  in full mouth

with the compromise arrived

a consent order derived

nothing still executed  for long

comes these words   not very strong

a swear on the almighty

with no real faith entirely.
