I Demand A Rebate.

I wrote a poem very simple

about  the revenue and its source

could, not a cause a ripple

it turned an unexpected resource

mayhem broke loose  extensively

words flew in a rage intensely

a note of genuine  appreciation

brought in  uncalled depreciation

one not able to accept another’s prowess

cried foul  with venom in excess

unwanted remarks came from the one

who fumed and frothed in tons

I stood aghast  for a while

well, that is not my style

put an end to this ugly controversy

warned her  of the consequence

declared my objection in a sense

hope it would put an end to the debate

otherwise, I should demand a rebate.controversy

The World Revolves.

The likes and dislikes

 the appreciation and depreciation

 all there be contradictions

that make life interesting

without them it would become stale

with no events to talk about in detail

as the human race rejoices

with an interactions most

where gossip takes the coast

as nothing and everything comes into force

while something and some other thing

falls back in the  diligent download (21)course

the important ones lag behind

while that is unimportant

comes into the driver’s seat

gearing up for the chase

compelling an exit dishonourable

Well! the world rotates so

revolving round the orbit

with a desire  to insist on uniformity

Lo! it find none as it envisages

it turns out to be a ruthless  controversy

raking up the cinders still red

with a flaming  burning coal

igniting that which have died down

opening up  a fresh disaster all the more.

Concluding Commitments

controversyCommitments open a controversy.
bringing in unexpected contradictions
They do enforce an indulgence
which might lead to dissatisfaction.
They do release an impatience
which leads to unsophisticated confrontation.
They do evolve into an unpleasant exchange
which head towards unwanted implications.
Commitments are to be completed
with undue care and tactful recommendations.

Ay You.

young girls fightingMath puzzle. It was a row
not among elders.
it was a tussle.
not among the parties.
It was a fight
not among the communities.
It was a quarrel
not among the sections.
It was an argument
not among the politicians.
it was a controversy,
almost among two of equal age.
It became heated in terms.
The heat turned unbearable.
It rose like a blazing fire.
Shouts in loud voice filled the air.
It drew lots around.
Old and young rushed to the spot.
The two were standing with faces red.
Gesticulating at each other in high temper.
The loveliest was saying
“I am four years old.
The other one was crying
“I am five years old”
The assertive one quipped
“Four is greater than five.”
The relatively bigger one
meekly refuted that five is bigger than four.
The smarter of the two stoutly denied
“ay you, four is greater than five.”
silencing the older one.
The five-year old walked down the lane
beaten by the four-year old.
Unobtrusively Darwin’s theory
“survival of the fittest”finds its way.
