A Perfect Match

A man known to me
feels so secure
thinks he is immortal
lives in a world
of his own not very great
but very cheap and stinking
assumes he is the richest
presumes he is the cleverest
whereas he knows not to speak
coherently leave alone with sanity
his voice goes up and down
between various frequencies
with a little or no literacy
he circumvents and circumspects
being that all idiocy
abridged in his scarecrow form
that be his physical appearance
he is a menace and a parasite
gnawing and eating over
goes on unbridled
and lives like a miser
with his lovely wife
who is equal to him
in all respects and aspects
a perfect match perhaps God’s will
might had been so some forty-five years ago
they live together happily in a house
that belongs to too many
but they have usurped the place
giving no space to others
a wretched pair they are.
May their tribe increase!
May they flourish!
May they prosper!
till tides turn across.

Omnipotent And Omniscient.

It being slippery

she held her support firmly

taking a step forward

away she went down in a blow

tumbling on the slippery floor

hurting her knee and head

the bone broke into two

the nerves got cut into halves

lying unconscious there for a moment

then pulled by some unknown

that much she could remember

what happened then after

got revealed into an untold story

hard to hear the narration

harder still to see the torment

she lay like a vegetable

a beautiful girl lost to the world

all in a sudden within a second

that be the end of the life

impermanent and temporary

Yet, man speaks with ire

behaves like an authority

thinking he is immortal

not learning by experience

nor realising the mortality.

considering himself omniscient

and omnipotent always.

Immortal You Are.

The ease of mediation
the flexibility in thinking
the desire to conclude
all get strangled
by the quality of jealousy.
Envy has been long man’s enemy
The better qualities in him
sink into oblivion and disappear
when jealousy takes over.
Feeling hot over nothing
Depressed over another’s progress.
Talking ill of a kin.
Manipulating and manoeuvring
Stopping other’s advance in life and business
by placing hurdles and constructing obstacles
both physical and abstract a notion to be disowned
make life which is a short span
a period of sixty to eighty years in all
hell and morbid, disenchanting and unnerving.
This diabolical attitude is because
that each one of us think we are immortal
and would stay on forever reigning supreme.
