A Home Away From Home.

Part of the year in one country ,and the next half in another country has been my way of life for the past three years. I really enjoy the dual inhabitation, except for the few days in settling down and a few days to wind up the show. It is really a sport. I have now fallen in love with the new land , I am visiting recently. The land of my birth , has a special twinge , but of late I am afraid of the people around me. The fright has driven me to the extreme of keeping away from all, and bunk into a haven of safety. Being a transparent, honest and straight forward person, the wiles , the gibes, the taunts and the appear so gentle ways , force me to withdraw fro the world . I find solace in my books and music. This hop to the alien country is God sent and I revel in my privacy and my sojourns with multiracial entities rejuvenate my assailed ego.

I am learning the language , which is simple . I am trying to cope up with domestic chores ,as help seems to be a rarity. I interact with my neighbours ,mostly in sign language . This brings in the nostalagic memories of my childhood days, when I excelled in Bharata natyam, where bhava or expression took the forefront. I wish to help out my neigh bour’s children with English ,as I feel i am proficient in it. Then , my official duties take up little of my time ,as we both my husband and I are into plantation, which is less troublesome amd more satisfying.My hop to this alien country has addressed my effaced counteneance and provides a cosy niche to huddle along.

This escapade from my home town, is God sent. Retirement is to be in a place of peace, healthy environment and amidst good people. I am blessed with all these vital factors.

My retirement will pass on smoothly without any skrimish and deceit.

Tolerance Negative.

Tolerance is a negative virtue. We come out with advices, with preachings about the quality of Tolerance. We emphasise ,that this quality is essential for each individual , as it leads to harmony.

Getting deep into the world at large, and perceiving the deceit and treachery around us, this virtue seems to be out dated.

In yore, when there was peace and contentment, adjustment and accommodation, love and friendship, tolerance was a priced enterprise. Today, we find brothers cheating brothers, parents being partial to the children, governance favouring the elite, authorities expounding rashness, audacity ruling the regiment, and conceit magnified in all expositions, endurance cannot be located.

If the age old principle of tolerance is practised , we will land ourselves in a wretched platform and fall on deep connived ambush.Manipulations, and scheming are in great demand. Perfidy and selfish dogmas take the pride of place.Venom and lust overwhelm the rapport. Stinking qualities appear predominant.Excellent ,blooming selections are lost in the milieu.

As such , if we remain silent and sullen, the fierce wave of snobbery and nauseating furore of fermenting wrath would displace the virtuous and prohibit the genuine from coming up in life.

Great care and eventual attention should be put forth to bring about coordination . Restraining reaction will endeavour much harm and solicit great risk at the wake of any uproar.

Transfer of Debts.

Banking regulations did not allow for trading in debt. This is the Gujarat High court judgement.

Banks cannot trade transfer or purchase a pool of non performing asset or bad debt.Thus securitisation loses its meaning. Debt cannot be transferred without the borrower being party of the transaction.The court has researched in depth and found out that under section 6 trading in debt is not within the purview of banking company. The impact is wholesome . The banks cannot ,hereafter simply shed their debt box as dry leaves fall from the tree. They have to carry the bag with them.

Is a loan item of the borrower an asset of a bank or debt of a bank?This has to be studied carefully. From a layman’s point of view the loan of a borrower is a debt not an asset. But the bank’s term the faltering companies as Non performing asset. The situation is little peculiar . How can the banks address a loan as an asset?. So far we have blindly followed the bank’s regulations, The judgement of the Gujarat High court is an eye opener. This will have a retrospective effect too.

Selling a debt to Asset Reconstruction Company will also have a similar reference . The ARCIL is a company formemed by different banks, Its regulations and rules ,as found in their Memorandum ,will also definitely reflect the distinctions as found in Bank’s strictures.

The Supreme court can set aside the judgement, but the ruling of the Gujarat High court is an evolution of a thorough analysis of the laws and formulas that govern the financial institutions.

If the judgement is upheld by the Supreme Court of India, then the entire scenario of Non performing Assets under the DRT, under Securitisation (SARFESI ACT) wil produce a remarkable challenge to the banks autocratic behaviour. It will a stimulate the depressed industrial dogma , and rejuvenate the dishevelled manufacturing premium .

Times change. Rules get modified. Profiles undergo moderation. Perceptions get altered. But true Judgements provide a certainity and a memorable requisite and a required respite.

The Spiteful Entities

The world has become so small. The mind of man has also shrunk to a nominal clature. This syndrome is fortunately unfortunate.

The modes of travel, the methodsof of communication, the symptoms of outsourcing, the opportunities of business, and the endeavours of education have grown abnormally predicting a close network capable of proximity and progress.. But all these prerogatives, have explicitly unravelled the narrow perception of man.

The growth external has not shown an inner strength, has halted an internal spectrum of promotion and has curtailed the affable outlook.

The basic quality of feigning malice has taken firm roots.It is an extraneous task to kill this instinct.

There are a handful of people ,who show extreme compassion , who act with sincere ideals, who shun ostentation, who help others, who talk gently, who help liberally and who do not expect any reciprocals. These few ,are termed as fools by the majority, called as ignorant imbeciles by the faddish, and innocent souls by the milder retinue.

The most celebrated refuse to accept the prosperity of others. They wish to remain the masters,and dictate terms to the modest . The most influential abhor to deal with the pragmatic and harm the humble if they come out successful. The most powerful discard the fellow humans as non entities and cause destruction by annihilating their competitors.

The mind spites every deed of the fellow human , as though he is an arch rival. A simple promotion evokes ill feeling. A trivial matter , like a hike in pay emulates envy. A purchase of a car or a jewellery or a property for that matter,ignites the mind. A marriage alliance is enough to set fire. A peaceful existence is sufficient to provoke antagonism. An ordinary settlement kindles the spirit . The gossip , the introspection , the back talk and the frenzy make the scenario unpleasant and unfit to coexist.

As the world moves, man has to keep pace with it .If he falters ,the orbit will shove him down disgracefully .

Obama Intrigued

Obama is outrageous. His temper is aroused by the issue of bonus to executives of top companies. The bonus part is highly disturbing, and the expectation of these officials borders on greed

The economy of the nation is in deep trouble.The companies are making huge loss. There is wide spread wage cut and severe hit on jobs. When everything else is in amiss, the bonus claim by the high ranked officers is demanding and demeaning.

The argument ,put forth by the companies , is that such priorities have to be taken into consideration to retain talent. This objective seems to be baseless and flimsy. Talent is plenty.It is available readily . It can be hired for a lesser pay packet.

The tag of high profile has submerged with failed economy. Professionalism has not reached the goal. It has turned way ward. it is clueless . Its target is exclusiveness in pay and perquisites. The sincerity in tending the company, in working for the betterment of their protege,in setting right the earnings,and caring for the welfare of the employees is totally nil.

The deteriorating standards in management has forced us to put down our heads in shame.Instead of remorse and repentance ,the executives in plum posts demand high salary and higher bonus. . It is a disgrace to the nation , a shame to society and a deformity to man.

Parties feign ostentation. Money flows like wate. But nowadays water resource is also limited. Unmindful spending , on the place, on the menu, on the gifts, on the decoration, on the reception , make one sad.We should deliver that Conservation is the theme of all practical endowments.

Most of our bretheren , live a very below the line life,with minimum food and maximum trouble.We need not take such presumes, but can we not give a thought to their existence , while celebrating in a grandiose affluence?

Weddings should be performed in style, as the unification of two individuals, from entirely different background, from absolute differed path, cohere into a single unit. The ceremony should not be a mere exhibition of wealth and splendour, but should propel a sobriety and stage a solemn entreaty,

Functions ,in general ,work with great gusto, either it be a social, political or a corporate. The pompous display hides the purpose. Most concerned preferences are shadowed by the extravaganza.The realistic approach is not to be tracked in the so called conferences, conventions , confluences.All these hyper activities dissolve the essence of the events. In the end we walk away with practically no knowledge of the call, no experience of participation. The vagueness is predominant,apart from the sumptuous food and socialising with the elite.

The extra energy, money, time and skill ,could be utilised for productive, progressive. and promotional fare. Let us give a thought to it.

Satyam Hang Out.

The Satyam board has been disbanded, A new 3 member directors have been appointed . The fresh team has met with an agenda to track down the misappropriatio. If the receivables ,as stated by the fraud management is true, then there is adequate liquidity, according to Mr. Deepak Parekh.

Yes, one man will gulp all the available food, with the help of his confident coteries. He gets choked and spits out the unneeded. He falls sick, is hospitalised ,is given proper medication and walks out with stately poise. This is what I perceive as the aftermath of the Satyam eruption.

Ramaling Raju has devoured 7000 crores , has disclosed the fudging ,has surrenderd to judicial custody , and has gone behind the bars. A beautiful myth and a strange reality get mixed up.

The Government has released the step up process and as the rescue is definite, the shares are moving up fast. Why do we act like in such a quixotic manner?

Protecting the shareholders , caring the employees, and holding the image up is thoughtful and appreciable. But how is the government going to do?

Setting right the financial, is an onerous job. The government appointed Board will get the least cooperation from the finance department of Satyam. Will stern orders bear fruit?

Restoring the good will , is still more a grave task. The credentials pose a big question. The World bank has cancelled its contracts. The faith in the company is lost. No one will dare revert to Satyam to process their business.

Making it move in the right track is the most terrible detonation . How well can they do?Mobilising liquidity, putting the bank balance straight,protecting the staff , prolonging the terms of result tabulation , will take its toll . Deepak Parekh, in the helm of affairs, has to spend many a sleepless night and many a nerve breaking hour to tally the workings.

State Bank Of India ,the grand old institution,has been cornered . It has advanced Rs 200 crore loan to Ramalinga Raju -a personal loan,against no collateral. This amount has been taken by Raju to fund his sons ‘ projects.If the loan is not repaid in 90 days, then it becomes a bad loan,.Raju has borrowed large funds from several financial institutions to dress up his debts.

Southern Petro chemicals , SPIC, in short, owes several millions to State Bank Of India.SPIC has become a non performer. Yet , State Bank of India , has not taken any action.

The people behind these cited companies are grand in stature, pose themselves to be top industrialists, move in high circles, have personal rapport with ranked officials, ministers, and politicians. The rewards , a decent way to call bribes, they extend to the greedy bureaucrats, and politicians , are fantastically excellent. This superb initiative by the borrowers dumbfounds State bank Of India.

Fine alterations and passive moderations are enforced to deal with such impostors by State bank Of India.

Rigorous chemistry and intriguing addictions are impounded to react with frank transparent good persons.

This hypothesis of State Bank Of India , is truly a reflection of the Holy Angel.
