Deep frothy brown oil spills
Dirty dark frothy liquid splashes,
Setting the Gulf in disaster.
Mighty ocean in deep blue,
Flows in regular clue,
Unaware of the danger.
Lovely fish in silvery shine,
Swim across in disciplined line,
Unmindful of the terror.
Erring human heartless trial,
Cries aloud in screaming frail,
Alert of the oncoming collapse.

Such a good poem!!
Nicely written poem 🙂
A great poem; the subject is so sad, so honest, so now, that it brings tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing. Chloe x
