Once again the All Fool’s Day
has chimed in with a sing
fool each other for the sake
an enjoyment to the best’
a rejoice in the quest
the taunt and 
haunt
go together on this day
where every one or other
call it for a play
not rally meaning what they say
but a play of tricks on friends
just to revive the cherish and nature
that lightens up the day with a brightness
and with a relaxation too.
Get to know each other
pick up friends wherever you are
that is the way to live
as company enliven the heart.
A friend in need is a friend indeed
goes the saying with a wave
that be not of every friend
as they are greatly not attached.
The sincere ones are a fraction small
their ingenuity not a question
they come from a genre
rare and informal .
The rest carry a friendship superficial
for the sake of banter
enjoyment attains the principal strata
understanding is never in their agenda.
Tell me your friend
I will tell you who you are
gets an applaud strong in real
as that would get into the insight close.
A stretch of land lies ahead
once a green pasture
where cattle grazed long ago
a sight of greenery everywhere.
The land looks dead now
with no vegetation all over
strains of fissures on the soil
exposing the dire status .
The land stands an example
illustrating the nature’s unpredictability
where rains poured a year ago
experience a drought severe now.
As all things go with statistics
the weather also agrees with forecast
though not to the core in all
they largely align to the feasibility.
Have to pass on with a reference
where most have to get across
whether it be drought or flood
we have to pull through.
The village is in a festival mood
as April heralds summer
with the ceremonies in the round
the temples look beautiful with decorations
shining in its glory.
The people return to their village
open up their homes long left unattended
meet their relatives and friends
a break from their routine
rejuvenating and exciting.
The temple mela goes in full swing
the deities decked come out in procession
the people throng the shrine
offering flowers and grains.
The ten –
day festival brings cheer and fun
also ends up in a note of grace
people renewing contacts of long
assure each other to meet once again.
The rose is rose
mostly
there are roses in all colours too
the general rule goes
with rose being rose in colour.
Arguably the generality is accepted
rose brings to mind the colour rose
so do any issue that go by the rule
the majority claims the dominance.
Poems, as all believe go well with rhythm and rhyme
there are others called blank verse
profess equal charm and melody as a song
give a musical form and tone in all.
Boys, by the term are mischievous
boisterous to the very essence
there are few exceptions to the general
the ones who are meek and mild.
Girls are dainty like petals
soft and pretty like a flower
a few tend to be a challenge to the form
with structure heavy and massive.
The general claims a validity
with the numerical advantage in the run
that might not be all pervasive
as exceptions find their way close.
The ethics tell
not to spite and bite
there rings a 
bell
A lot of supplements in the diet
with spinach and roots
leafy and fresh vegetables
the nuts and fruits in proportion
enrich the food with nutrition
also with calcium and vitamins
necessary for the growth and health.
The spices and condiments in ratio
make us live with cheer
destroying the infections that arise
with the pollution at large
and immunity a way away
re equipping the body with vigour
that too building a resistance
able to fight any physical discomfort.
The diet has to be balanced
with sweet and sour equal
along with spicy and bitter
comprise the Indian diet 
with boiling in the maximum
and frying a little less
propose a feature of excellence.
She calls me now and then over phone
brief she would talk at times
lengthy she would go most times
talking of events of past
telling of details present
all with precision abrupt.
She expects a listening patient
traces our distraction
offended she becomes at this juncture

She lives away from all friends and relatives
most do not wish to communicate with her
for fear of behaviour harsh
as she goes on with fiery swear and curse
breaking into sobs and cries loud
wretched she seems to be then.
Unless she mends her ways
none would renew 
the ties
her tempers always on the rise
unpredictable and scary
force even the closest to run away
poor lady she has to start anew.
The feel of disgust got me in the middle
with the affairs moving as smooth as a fiddle
there arose a hurdle that posed a block
releasing an unpleasantness that locked
the flow of the events to a halt.
Stuck up in between the frontier and dernier
knew not how to negotiate and lift the barrier
stood aghast with the thought of remorse
deliberating how to bring into force
an action that would go ahead.
Resolved to plunge into the core
organized a meet of four
who would check out the drawbacks
allegedly could bring the movement back
a restoration is to be envisaged.
The effort directed a forward move
with things falling into the groove
with that the obstacles slowly were overcome
paving the way to a successful outcome
realised a fulfillment on the way.
Win or fall
be it in fields all
has a call.
