Read Aloud- A Command

My friend  bade me to read aloud,

Letters and words jumbled up in a fold,

My voice stumbled to a hold,

Fear lurked up  making me cold,

Yet I read aloud.

Raising my tone high and high,

Reading with a moderate shy,

I settled to ease by and by,

My first attempt  was a good try,

As I took up the dedicated fly.

My reading was quite  interesting

The audience heard with rapt  binding,

There was a silence really filling,

Adding to the grace of the rendering,

I stood amidst grand rebuilding.

Applauses rant the air,

Appreciation encircled the fair,

Questions came up in pair,

Pat came the answers  from me in quick spare,

I remain grateful to my friend’s care.

Care Creation

Attempt To Renovate.

Rare paintings in age-old temples,

Reveal volumes of history,

Depict  scenes of the past,

In colourful artistic splendour.

These monumental sketches,

By artists of yore,

Are rare treasures passed on,

From generations to generations.

They tell us about events,

Teach us  the customs,

Discipline our lifestyle,

By illustrations of traditions.

Restoration  unmindful destroys,

 Kill  the beauty forever,

As the significant exhibits die,

In the hands of ignorance.

Renovations  have to restructure

 To garnish the lost glamour,

 By reinventing the charm,

In conservative constructions.

The present day efforts,

Put forth a suicidal trend,

Wiping off extensively ,

The delicacies of the past.

A painting is a creation,

Of the mind and soul,

It is a  profound release,

Of thought and imagination.

True art has no replicas,

 As they are spontaneous,

Born only once,

Never to be created again.

Such being the state,

An extreme care is the need,

Bidding a requisition  for a challenge,

Most similar to a virtuous patience

Stitch In Time Saves Nine.

Stitch across the torn piece of cloth,

Stitch over a tattered piece of heart,

To  save it from  deterioration   fast,

It is hard to restore the originality lost.

Stitch on time to  arrest the fault,

Stitch secure to prevent more tear,

Before the irrevocable  lands   bare,

Setting in motion an expensive fare.

Stitch crossly to enliven the charm,

With red roses and green leaves,

With yellow fruits on huge trees,

That dangle like  balls in the  cool breeze.

Stitch intricately  into the design,

With pink , blue and brown threads,

Giving a pleasant shade and blend,

Creating a sensational    trend.

Stitch in tact the broken heart,

With kindness and  compassion,

Aiding to unwind the  depression,

Carefully dealing with  the  oppression.

Stitch over a cloth prolongs its life,

Stitch over a heart proposes longevity fine,

Makes the  heat beat in rhythmic twine,

It is stitch in time saves nine.
