With that we come to an end
and start anew.
The past year seems longest
filled with fear.
It has passed somehow.
Going out prohibited.
Gathering banned,
Everything from home
was the new mantra.
Call it an awakening,
A lesson taught
the hard way
where rules governed
supreme and adhered
without grouse.
The long time forgotten
discipline has come into force,
Thanking the year for bringing
out a renaissance, we solicit
2021 with a bow.
