The Sydney storm
causes harm
the rains lash
floods in a flash
houses washed away
a horrible
day.

A Schedule Written
Good we do
lives after us
the bad we do
also lives after us
a strange proposition
yet has a lot of relevance.
Good, go to heaven
a popular saying
bad are confined to hell
another famous belief
do they actually go?
a point to ponder.
These be the faith
that grows out straight
a method to hold
good should remain good
bad would turn good
a schedule written in gold.
The Rise Of The Sun.
The rise of the sun
comes with a fun
with a wind very strong
the birds make merry with a song
the sun rises from its slumber in a languish
with a stretch and straighten up in anguish
gathers up in a hurry overcoming its tardiness
kisses the darkness with a mild fondness
the brightness comes out in hide and seek
shades of yellow and silver dissipate the bleak
it is but a lovely sight to watch
encourages the one to go with a catch.
Namaskaram
A Lady Of Charm.
Having been absent for long
she feels different in all
she could do nothing wrong
she is away from the throng.
Her presence is a welcome
she comes like a song melodious
her skill could source an income
her liveliness relieves the strenuous.
Quiet she was in all her actions
smart she was at the same time
measured she was in her interactions
focused she was at the same time.
That being her style of life
her moves are same in her attitude
placid and plausible in her strive
she is full of gratitude.
The Directions Teach Me
It is from west
I keep it in my chest
I do not want to test
as it is the best.
It is from the east
I keep it in my feast
I do not want the least
as it is a treat.
It is from the north
I keep it with a nod
I do not want to prod
as it is one to be lauded.
It is from the south
I keep it without a doubt
I do not want to be drowned
as it is one to be proud.
The Rains Cause Happiness.
The sound of rain falling
that too in the morning
keeps me in a mood of joy
and in a status of enjoy
I rush to the window
see the abundance in a show
the water falls in a sheet
it is a pleasant treat
I run to my back door
pull open the door
run into the vegetable garden
where the veggies lie in a broaden
stand there for a while
get drenched in style
the water flows down my head
I put out my tongue instead
splash it around my lips
the water drops in drips
it is a play of my childhood days
it continues to this day
an exhilaration I experience
it is one of very great reference.
