A Temple Visit.


Fridays are reserved for temple visits by most Hindus. The shrines get crowded with devotees .The Goddess reign supreme during the Friday poojas . The deities  in lovely attire  decked with ornaments and adorned by colourful garlands present a grand  yet serene , delightful  yet graceful, enthralling yet divine  presence.A close look into the eyes of the Goddess kindles rhapsody and reverberation. The eyes emanate a succinct power that consoles  the depressed demeanour. condemns the wicked perception, controls the agitated mind, brings out the goodness, and considers a tranquil ,transcendental momentum never experienced before. Each visit to the temple lets out a different stigma , strikes out a variant harmony , that words  and expressions are not sufficient to describe .

Of late , going to the temple pose a diffident task. Entrance is marshalled  by Police. Security check is conducted. Then a long , long queue is formed . There are different entries to those who buy tickets , classified according to the value ,then  free entry, apart from a VIP thoroughfare , which is utilised by the  top officials, Politicians and elites. Negotiating the way to the sanctum sanctorium needs enormous patience and sustaining spirit.

After coping with all these hurdles , a fraction of a minute is allotted for the worship, which is overwhelmed by  a hard push  by the crowd, a rude shout by the security guard , a harsh command by the police . The synchronising effect of the chanting of mantras , the deepa aradhana and the proximity to the divine , gets lost , by the dis cordant , inhuman behaviour of the temple sevaks and the arrogance of the Police officials.

A resolution , a determination settles in the mind. A little strayed away  faith from the norms , a strained disappiation from the codes , usurps the long dedicated thought of paying visits to the temples, that of restricting the intention of going to the temples, which were once a citadel of peace and tranquillity, but now appear to be a meeting place of monied , powerful , and bureaucratic cult.

The temples of worship , have given way to  commercialisation and politician . A strong vehemence creeps in , a dissatisfied interpretation works out, a disinterested devotion predominates.This tendency does not augur well, and does not involve a healthy ideal.A new procedure to worship God and Goddess has to be evolved , to retain the religion.

Coming Out Of The Blue.


A year of recession is slowly drawing to a close.The much talked about depression is coming to a  halt. The employment sector is the only one that is still  turning nightmarish trends. Hope it should resolve quickly to make the economy  translated into a vibrant force .

The look up should be sustained with great gusto. A soft , steadied direction should lead us into a scenario of cheer and fortitude.

Oil ,which rose remarkably in the early 2008 , had a tumultuous fall in the late 2008 and early 2009 , is getting out of the suppressed oblivion . It is now being quoted as 70$. Gold and silver are ranging high . The stocks have spiralled up . The industrial output  has made a marginal rise of 2%.The real estate which is little back , is treading  in measured steps . It appears , that it will also turn rosy.

The Information sector is idling , so is the outsourcing industry. The recession in this field  is marked . It has to resume a figure of confidence and mettle ,so as to enamour its customers. This particular sphere has been over exposed, Money has flowed into the field as a mighty river assuming the role of a torrential flow. The wisdom and prudence have been overshadowed  by the inclination to work for others, where money claims authority and  excellence. The servitude has led to an abject obsession , that the animated replicas, and blind imitation has forsaken the analytical kinship and meticulous planning. The financial attraction has shrouded the inherited talent , that in a few years the monetary comfort would deprive the nonchalant intelligence . Money can buy everything , but not the lively brains. It has numbed the mental faculty and shut the inquisitiveness of the mind, which is a dangerous risk.

As the melt down is geting solidified , as the depression  which has liberally loosened  a fireceful  mentality  is now paving the way to progression, as the economic snail ‘s pace is hastening toward a  tortoise’s acceleration , as the sadness is fumbling, and as the rejuvenation  is settling in , a harbinger of grace and blessing makes a gala entry  , though in moderate terms.The significance of this augumented gaiety is sure to make inroads into the embellished ethical formation.

An Uneasy Priority


The past two weeks were clustered with appointments, that have sucked the energy and drained the enthusiasm in me. A host of weddings, betrothals, child shower, all in close succession ,disturbed the routine. The heat  and the travel to one place to another jaunt ,coupled with  feasts and delicacies have  transformed me into a senseless living being.

Last fortnight , was a terrible experience.A quick bath, a dress up in a costly attire , with some jewels on , ensued by a tedious travel covering  a distance of 100 kms., followed by alighting at the venue,walking to the avenue of  the wedding being greeted by friends and relatives, walking to the avenue of  the wedding,proceeding to the dining hall. gulp something  out of fear and haste, then waiting in the wedding hall for the ceremony to get over, finally hop into the car for another marriage. This has been my itinerary for half a month. My body is aching, my tummy is filed with hunger as it has been alienated from the a simple breakfast with a hot cup of tea, the lunch predominantly centres round little rice , broth, vegetables , dhal and pickle , curd and fruits, with the evening turning out to have a slight snacks and a hot cup of tea, as the dinner sums  up with a   modest menu added with fruit juice,retiring a little while with a hot cup of milk.The appeasement of the mind and physic has been totally lost by accommodating these appointments in the activities. It is not a mere adjustment , but a certain accomplishments that renders negative distinctions.

Skipping some would have been a comfortable idiom, but the unnecessary back talks , would have torn the heart. The gossip and exchange of views,make a devastating ravish , as they explore  mostly discordant disharmony.A pleasant conversation ,  swiftly takes a scandalous apprehension , which dispels the rejoice and gaiety prevalent .A guarded talk, a soft smile and a cordial countenance should be forcefully delivered  so as to maintain tranquillity.

A feigned pretension has come to a close. But , I fear , in a short gap another bout will take shape , which is going to drive me mad and exhausted. I am into earnest expectation that I should  find a way out this ordeal .

Shall I pack my bags and disappear from the planet?

Wealth assumes a large perception and has a comprehensive curriculum of definition . The literal etymology of wealth indicates money and its accessories , like  gold, property, and stocks . Wealth , enfolds a package that escapes the layman’s discretion. It is a beautiful word that has been degraded to the monetary functions. It  is the crystallisation of grace and decor, health and well being, veracity and virtuoso, poise and equanimity, kindness and mercy , sobriety and justice.

An individual blessed with a loving wife and adorable children , possessing wisdom and knowledge , acquiring financial gains and  worthy assets, indulging in peaceful entreaties and programmes, radiating happiness and cheer , is the epitome of a wealthy man.

In  modern times wealth has achieved a  distasteful meaning that of money and valuables. The repetition is to emphasize the material significance that people attribute to it. The narrowed down  pointer of wealth  inflicts audacity  and arrogance, irreverence and ill temperance, impoverished thoughts and conceited scorn.

A mustered effort to wrangle wealth from the stupid rationality should be pushed through . This will emanate a  structural recovery and a competent  resurrection . A broadened credential and a generous magnificence  should  be the outcome of  this procedure. This mechanism of creating an all round  prosperity and progress is wealth.

Borrowing liberally  and drinking heavily  are  the two  prime personifications  of the  Satanic cult. Wiping And Cleaning


The possibilities of keeping the environment fully well in a designed and disciplined framework looks remote. The defamation to the healthy atmosphere is man made , in the sense it is wantonly committed  and purposefully devised.

The  apparent job of cleaning the house , is  a simple  work ,which needs no special skill and no mental  acumen. The way ,it is carried out requires  a proper procedure. The dust , the rubbish and the cobwebs that are collected should go to the bin , but we throw it out in the streets , unmindful of the mess it causes, immediately and in the long run, Most countries take severe action to this gross violation, but in India , it is a casual incident. Most house  fronts are swept  clean, then water is poured , again it is  swept dry . Then the traditional sketches or kolams are drawn , giving a gleeful look . This sweeping is confined to the front part only, leaving the thither sides totally in the lurch. The Indian mindset ,” is keep your house clean , do not think about the inch of land which does not belong to you.” Let it gather dust , let it be strewn with plastic carry bags, let it hold a garbage of waste that cannot be easily  destroyed, the Indian is not affected. He feels that  it is not his duty , it is the job of the city  corporation 

The capricious thought seems so strange and so weak at the same time. The  indiscriminative process leads to a prosaic perishable derogation. The garbage starts stinking , if it is drenched by rain. It starts flying , when it faces a strong wind.  The  large deposit of waste mounted for a long duration ,starts the spreading of infection  of multifarious bacteria . Most illness are air borne , and waterborne. The hazard , thus created , leads to ailments , like asthma, jaundice, hepatitis , allergies and influenza.

The narrow perception of maintaining cleanliness at home , is ridiculous and painful at the  same time. The ridicule emanates from the short listed constrained refinement of the insensitiveness to the jeopardy it causes. Abstaining from the general welfare but involving in the particular  sensibility, shakens the vulnerability of the environment. The President of U.S is touring the Muslim countries. He is holding talks with the King Of Saudi Arabia at Riyadh and conducting a meeting in Egypt, where he will be waxing his eloquence to restore peace and renew ties with the cold introverts.

The plane was in excellent condition, the pilots were experienced and no snag was found during the take off, yet it is not visible. We fear the worst.The kith and kin are awaiting an official announcement. The play of emotions evolve a mental mindset, impressing that the inevitable has to happen. We gape in awe , and mumble that nothing is in our hands. Everything perfect has turned  into a  collapse of evacuation, a tumble down of rehearsals and a dithering error.

The visit of Obama to  Saudi Arabia is primarily to repair the relationship with that part of the planet.He will discuss mid east peace with the Saudi king at Riyadh.He will also seek support  over the nuclear standoff. The President feels that this is an important opportunity to seek important business He wants to build a moderate alliance with the Muslim nations.This is a logical attempt of Obama to tighten the ties with Saudi , thus enabling a moderate hand shake with the Muslim nations. Saudi has imported$12.5 million of goods from U.S and exported $54.8 million worth of oil.Trade and peace go together.

The  Undocumented immigrants of U.S constitute 26% of the total foreign born population.They  include  Mexicans, Latin Americans,Asians , Europeans, and Canadians.The costs , delays and inefficiency in processing the visa application and work permits have contributed to the increase in illegal immigration.This is a perennial  problem and an extensive error to be reconciled. The deportation  is had to work out, the punishment  to the illegal migrants is  difficult to pronounce, the ordeals suffered while trying to creep in , while attempting to escape from law are horrendous , and the opportunities in work and education is  difficult to be allotted , as they have no valid documents, The children of this unlawful population are the most hit , for no fault of them.
