Enchanting Rush.

There is a mad rush to a place
and an unprecedented chase
going on in different phase
know not how to face.

There is a gold find there.
The people flock to share.
They take extreme care.
Hope it is not a snare.

Slogging and toiling day and night
Time passes on in a the site.
Unearthing the yellow metal in the plight.
making a fortune at sight.

On hearing there is more rush
as people throng with a push
informing all to keep hush
as it would bring in a big crush.

Mining goes on for days
Every day’s record is beaten in ways.
Men collect gold with a craze.
They grow rich in a daze.

The power of wealth is great
Acquiring it in a rate
unmindful of the fate
looks enchanting on date.

There Go The People.

The lure for the land plenty.
the desire to move to it
from the land of scanty
has knocked all in bits.

Endowed with richness
the land is an attraction
while there grows a denseness
the land left behind is a detraction.

The intensity mounts to levels
as the exodus grows.
The density diminishes to levels
as the migration grows.

The proportion is not balanced
with the rise on one side
and the ratio is imbalanced
with the fall on other side.

The disparity is startling
as there is no equanimity.
It is but deviating
as there is no uniformity.

It is a slide.

It is a side.
Going by the tide.
It is an aid.
Rendered by the paid.

Shot By Shot_— Haiku.

A big shot
came in with a big shout
calling all out.

A gun shot
pierced through with loud shout
felling all out.

A pointed shot
taken precisely without any shout
captured everyone out.

It was shot
beautifully taken amidst great shouts
shot by shot.

Love is blind goes the adage.
How much blind really?
Being blind to status in a gauge
Never thought of colour in a stage.
Not attached to creed in a rage.
Very much akin to understanding in a wage.
As there is nothing more to get engaged.
Little or none being in controversy to get enraged.
Writing about love in a page
becomes a hard task even to a sage.
So going with the adage
that love is blind
is apparently a rare find
if it is really a bind
then it is an affair kind.
It it turns out to be sour in the hind
then it is an exchange unkind.

An Attitude Difficile

ideas and ideologies are running me mad.
Ideals and identifications are keeping me sad.
These being a pull down for my performance
I am crawling in snail speed.
The thought of how I am going to cope up
still worsens my applications
as I am an introvert in nature.

Needing space and pace to do things
that too all by myself
refraining others to get into any work
I become unpopular among my friends.
But once I get things accomplished
they would look fine and presentable
appreciated and admired by all.

If am subjected to criticisms
I would set them aside
not touching them for life.
An attitude which causes a pause
and leads to a break in progress.
Know not from where I got it?
and from where i learnt it?

Ill Sounding.

The calm of the morn got disturbed
The back yard echoes with a sound
tumultuous and jarring piercing the ears
sending waves of dust across
drenching the yard with dusty smoke

As I could not stay long in the back
came to the porch with my newspapers.
Misery again with a different noise
It is the beating of drums with full vigour
denoting that somebody has passed away.

Digging the already injured earth
Penetrating it for more water on one side.
Drum beats in a house where the departed is laid
do not augur well with the sombre occasions.
Am I going into other’s affairs too much?

The Encounter.

With a feel and kneel
she stood before him.
He sat rigid and tight
as if ready for a fight.
The encounter looked so unpleasant
while one looked very pleasant
the other was damn wicked.

How is it going to end?
He not in a mood to bend.
She in a note to accept
that falls within the precept.
The uneasiness was going for long
keeping every settlement in a prolong.
None could understand what was going on.

Watching the sequence from close quarters
felt very bad for the girl in every frontier
But could do nothing to bring in a unity
as the man did not endear any cordiality.
Befallen the girl turned away from him
swearing never to see him
with that the ties got snapped forever.

The Rain And Sun

The sun and rain play important
as they give vitality to life
The sun gives impetus to growth
The rain supplements the progress.
Life in darkness sees no thrive.
Life without water also finds no reprieve.
Complementing each other in the drive
the prosperity gets on with a push
sustaining the world in which we live
keeping us alive in this world of struggle.
An excess of sun and rain will bring a collapse
as the rains becomes storm rummaging the entire
causing a hang over in full term.
The extra ordinary sun shine would char life
demeaning the whole to burnt cinders
The deficit of rain and water
would again land in trouble
creating famine and drought
with that killing many along
in their quick schedule.

Looking Through Love.

Love seen through the eyes
Amour visible through the movement of hands
holding together in amity and extreme affection
Smiling and giggling for nothing
Nodding and nudging at times.
Enthusiastic and excited mostly
Gesturing with a feature adorable
All done with discretion perfect
performed with modulations precise.
tell us quietly and softly as though in a whisper
that both have fallen for each other
and are bound by true love.
