The child in us all
showing itself in the desire for all
raising up in the form of adamancy in the thrive
that be the firmness in the likings with a strive
the feel of stubbornness going up with the age slowly
the intention to acquire increases gradually
the thought gains momentum as days go by
while the need or necessity takes the back seat in the try
the only aim is to get it by hook or crook anyway
that again proves akin to the childlike craziness in a way
with the feverish move there goes an attempt frivolous
which annihilates the reason and analysis almost rebellious
the mulish attitude grows with a zeal tumultuous
therein we find the grown ups as little boys in their glee.

The Heart In A Race.
The words come out
as we write with ease
jumping out of the heart
processed by the brain
typed by the hand
while the eyes see all in print
the mind reads it with attention
call it proof reading
but before it could finish
certain other topics rise up
he heart deliberates for a moment
as it records them one by one
being a prologue
then a dialogue
finally an epilogue
all come with such precision
the brains gets halted
the hands ache for a minute
but the heart propounds
more and more with such gusto
that all other faculties sit back
yearning for a break and a stop over
unable to cope up with the poet’s thoughts
but never the heart pulls out from the game
as spontaneity is its by word
there comes with a gush
all the emotions that are recollected
with a delivery great and best.
It is termed as pride,
It is referred as exclusiveness,
It is summed up as withdrawal.
Whatever it may be observed,
A certain resolution is apparent,
A slight diffidence is felt,
A kind of aloofness is experienced.
Well, that looks interesting,
It is akin to a determined disposition,
It is similar to a non interventional distinction,
It is more or less a revered definition.
Likening it to a shining star is appropriate,
Alluding it to an embellishment is obvious,
Accepting it as a chaste demeanour is prudence,
Affliating it to a diplomatic policy is wisdom.
Calling it as adamancy is an intrigue,
Assailing it as high headedness is a fallacy,
Deriding it as a behavioural enigma is callous,
Concluding it as a deviant measure is a disaster.
The attitude varies from person to person,
A sanguine perception is regarded high,
A non intrusive temperament is found rare,
A sagacious discretion demands applause.
