Mother ———- A Symbol Of Love.

“Mother” a lovable word

embraces all with love

looks with eyes benign

seeks nothing  in return

a solace to all

solicits with a smile

knows only selfless affection

brings tears to my eyes

as I recollect my own

a tough lady by nature

bore so much love inside

never showed it out explicit

being an innate confidence

versatile and  a genius

took after her father

an architect par excellence

not in a way qualified

an administrator beyond imagination

not in a way qualified

a housewife  ahead of thoughts

not in a way qualified

a teacher strict to the core

not in a way qualified

lacked she in one aspect

could that be a minor one

it be the cooking skill

she never wanted to master

rather never attempted once in her life

the mother of mine is a straight woman

majestic and careful

walked with an air of pride

her eyes reflected her feeling

her hands excelled in sewing and knitting

the  embroidery was her speciality

grammar was her focus

punctuations  came first

she lived like a Queen

her bastion always in her hand

such a mother I was blessed to have

being so born in the earth

which too bears the honour of a mother

earth being the founder of all

a symbolic significance of patience and pride

all at the same time  and with the same demand perfectmoment

Great And Nothing

The feel of greatness

keeps me awestruck

the thought of nothingness

relates to a  daring pluck

both awakens us to a reality

greatness is abstract

and it  commands an instability

the pride makes us insecure in fact

nothingness is a vacuum  definitely

it lends an emptiness and an alarm

the fear makes us indolent  exactly

the apprehension arises from the storm

one being correlated  to the other

pride and insecurity  coordinate

greatness and nothingness  do  bother

with the same tenor not in a deviate.great and nothing

The Promise

Promises are to be kept

never to be broken

as the word is an honour

carried out not in a banner

change should never find its way

as it would lead one astray

keep up your word

to live with pride in the worldpromises

if at all you slip

let it be  a flip

not  one of an ordeal

as it would  delete the cordial

rules have an exception

that should not work out a deception

never give place to illusion

always take the cue with a realization

the word is valuable than any treasure

going by it is  a precious feature

breaking it is disenchanting

being an anguish defeating.

A Carton in the Court Hall.

cartonA lawyer wheeled a carton in the court hall.
Beaming with pride he posed tall.
Up and down he went with a smiling call.
His clients were moving here and there like a ball.

The carton was huge and catchy.
It was fastened rather tightly.
What was inside? was everybody’s curiosity
Did it contain treasures of precious quality?

It was gently lifted up the stairs.
It caused the gathering to a stubborn stare.
The clients carried it up with an utmost care.
Was there tonnes of gold or gems rare?

The trio pushed it to the judge’s chamber.
Heaving a sigh sat down in a slumber.
They spoke in subdued tone about the number.
Was there any high risky documents in danger?

The judge walked in with a lively style.
Adjusting his glasses read out from the file.
Put forth the salient issues without a guile.
Called the parties to deliberate on them for a while.

The lawyer opened the carton in speed.
What would come out? was everyone’s thought indeed !
Took out the account books to read.
The judge paid the least heed.

The mediation was simple and issue based.
The trio’s expectation was razed.
Knowing not how to handle they stayed embarrassed.
Their upstart behaviour was defaced.

Back again they wheeled the carton to the landing.
Bitten by ignominy they made haste through the standing.
Hurriedly they pushed it into the porch with an irked feeling.
The carton played a role amusingly debasing.

Pleasant What May.

Nodding her head she sits among friends.
Listening to their remarks of lively trends.
Smiling at their fascinating talks across the bend.
Keeping a pleasant quietness is her way till the end.

Coyly she hears their bashful jeers.
Softly she smothers their tears.
Lovingly she dissipates their fears
as she keeps a pleasant poise is her way unto the rear.

Expressions rude never come from her.
Thoughts evil never get the best of her.
Inhuman behaviour is never found in her
as she Keeps a pleasant grace intact in her.

Her insinuations are assumed as ignorance by some.
Her inclinations are claimed as innocence by some.
Her exclusiveness is termed as pride by some
while keeping a pleasant attitude never pays her handsome.

Her demeanour is all throughout the same.
Believing in truth is her game.
She worships truth not in name
while she keeps a pleasant trust not for fame.
pleasant
She does not live for others as many do.
She loves them most from out of the blue.
She does not wish to give a clue
while keeping a pleasant extension in the groove.

Her way of life is different all through.
Never does she bow down to authority in a rue.
Never does she acknowledges money as powerful in all her moves
as she keeps a pleasant endearment in her interactions true.

Lady With A Gift.

gift.
It was the day before the wedding.
Relatives came in all smiling.
The reception was totally warming.
The dinner was absolutely loving.
There was gaiety and joy all charming.

The photographers were busy recording.
The guests were captured in unaware positioning.
The professionals had photographed the event with exact pinning.
That of a lady with a presentation in packing.
Alighting the steps in quick-moving.

She walked up the aisle in swift stroll.
Perhaps she had a second thought on the whole.
She went down the steps in a fast mode.
She kept the gift in the car’s back hold.
Assuming that none had noticed it in a droll.

The thought to come to the wedding is itself noble.
The presence of well wishers is in itself most amiable.
The sudden change of mind in itself displays a character feeble.
The turn back in itself expresses a pleasant weakness unamiable.
The small incident does not connote a conduct impeccable.
