The Eternity

Full of leaves  green
 no space in between
the hibiscus plant as seen
looks gorgeous with a gleam.
It  is in full bloom
 the flowers red  in groom
blossom with a liveliness
being so many and in a dense
They are dark and deep
grow they in heaps
being uncountable as they are
seem to be tender in a flair .
The red and green modulation
  present  a fascination
both not soft in their décor
 very strong to the letter.
One fine morning to a shock
could it be one in a stock
 the leaves have fallen
 lay there trodden.
Being absolutely bare
as if ripped off by a tear
 the plant looks desperate
being in a withered state.
The red and green solidarity
expose  now a disparity
a bubbling enthusiasm felt
turns disenchanted under the belt.
The transitory deals of the day
be it in any transactions in play
reveal the impermanence subtly
both in nature and in life invariably .

Enchanting As it Is

The  lush green   meadows

shine with a lively gleam

leads to a fantasy  not in a dream

an explicit illustration not a shadow.

The eyes feast with a pleasure

the heart breathes in a fresh air

wish to roll on the grass as bare

a flight  much away from any pressure.

The cheeks turn pink with a glow

the face loves the wind that strikes it

the body is fully rejuvenated every bit

a quintessential strength gathers in a flow

The Prosperity Amazing.

It was a drive round

nothing in a bound

with little  or no sound

we drove across down

the villagers looked cheerful

villagers even  more wonderful

all because of  recent copious rains

diffused their trials and  strains

a prosperity experienced  not in feign

green and enchanting  lie the fields

with paddy and maize indeed!

paddy fields fecundity in the  orchards and groves

coconuts, lemon, mangoes in rows

all could not compete with the villagers’ joy

though their  countenance  reflected coy.

The Colours Play

A grocer has colours too
a greengrocer is one
so do the smiths
the blacksmith
and the goldsmith
goes on colours in names too
there are Whites, Blacks
and Greens, Violet
and Rose in a pictorial hue
no semblance to the people
no connection to their names
the colours go into the stream
seamless is their intervention
subtle is their connotation
lovely they are in istock_000002746120smallan apparent jurisdiction.

The Curry leaves,

The coriander  plants

 shoot out green leaves

on all seasons without fail

 greener during rainy days

paler in the hot months

healthy  most of the year

spotted they  turn

when rains fail

 bloom profusely  with cheer

spread a pleasant smell all over

 collect them every day

 they  being  an ingredient

to season and supplement

the diet with aroma and iron

Lovely they look when cooked

Lovelier they seem

as they dangle  in breeze

great is their value in regular terms

greater they stand with heads high

when tagged with medicine .

Simplicity overwhelms  gracefully.

Essential they are for preparation.

Cheap and best in diction.

brushed aside wholly by most

held in esteem by a few

like to sing their praise

commend their value

with a fervour and passion

they do  carry  voluminous refer

with a coy bright decor.

Green And Yellow

The grass is green
everyone knows
the hay is yellow
that all know
what is new ? in that
you would ask. with a shout
the fresh one being green
and the dried turning yellow
shows a real follow
that things when are new
look beautiful and gleaming
catching the eye all the more
when they be let like that
for months and years together
they transform into a substance of mellow
with a maturity all round
modest and charming as well
which is old has also a value
that being young commands a fair chance
there  goes the way of life in a circle
all great and good  on the round.
