The Old Order Changeth

old orderGiving way to new things in a fest.
Giving chance to young at the best.
Giving place to new order in a test
So goes the world in a flow
as change brings in a result slow.

Leaving the old things behind.
Leaving the aged in the hind.
Leaving the old order away from the bind.
So goes the world in a flow
as old takes the back row.

Taking up enthusiasm as a cue.
Taking over by youth is true.
Taking in fresh air from the blue.
So goes the world in a flow
as novelty assumes a glow.

Brushing aside the experience as a yardstick.
Brushing aside the oldies as one with a walking stick.
Brushing aside the tested ideals like a prick.
So goes the world in a flow
as wisdom retreats with a bow.

The Causeway.

causewayMundane denotes anything material.
It goes about in an arterial.
Circling round the terrestrial.
Carrying attitudes referral.
Calling for actions imperial.

Material has overtaken the majority.
It stipulates a certain tenacity
while displaying a curiosity
It lures all to a willing generosity
endorsing a significant velocity.

The majority go forward in a strange note.
Initiating a peculiar quote.
They express an invincible forte.
Presenting a delectable clout.
Enamouring everyone to a remarkable afloat.

The strange note leads them to a destination
unknown to those in the restitution
unfamiliar to those in the restoration.
It organises a scenario of retribution
Instilling faith and staunch determination.

Vows And Promises

vows and promisesVows and promises made along

inflict a constraint all along.

Vows are made in the face of challenges

that exceed at times beyond the ranges.

Promises sworn in times of emergency

lay a refrain in days of  urgency.

Vow to do a deed  is a no mean achievement

leading  to a pronounced  denouement.

Promises  of merit are to kept at any cost

as otherwise they seem  a meaningless slot.

Both  are  dead easy to confirm and construct

as long as they remain a  mere wordy instruct.

Vows   take the cue from anger and pain.

At times they proceed to a bloody slain.

Promises are born out of  will and necessity.

Most times they rob  life out of immunity.

Vows and promises should not  come down as rain.

They are to be proposed with out vain.

Many More Like Her.

sadistKate calls and tells with an undertone.

She talks round about with a dual tone.

She converses in a sly tone.

She guffaws with a rude tone.

Kate speaks high about her kids.

She praises   sky-high at all bids.

She  craftily hides their shortcomings in  counter bids.

She  is the best in camouflaging unholy grids.

Kate indulges in talks disoriented.

She builds stories all fabricated.

She passes  distasteful remarks undeterred.

She infests  a saintly glamour unwanted.

Kate has pulled on  for eighty years so.

Running about unmindful of her negative flow.

It is when she is going to get the blow.

Very soon she would find the low.

Ending Up

As duties get over,

so responsibilities fall over.

so events fall over.

We walk over,

with a fulfillment all over.

As freedom sets in,

 peace enters  in.

As  it is an achievement all the way,

pride finds its way.

We go ahead

with a tranquillity instead.

The rotation completes in a swing,

leaving a lively brim.

The cycle closes with a high note,

listing an admirable dote.

We end up almost

with an enlightenment  at the most.

A Poor Girl Yonder.

Tossing in the bed she lies.

Wrinkling her brows she cries.

Twisting her nose she tries.

Biting her lips she controls.

Up she gets  out of her bed.

Over her eyes look red.

Above she knocks her forehead.

High  she stumbles ahead.

In she walks along the aisle.

Into she  stutters over the trail.

Inside she breaks like a frail.

Inward she flutters as a gale.

Out she rushes out of the gate.

Outside she maintains her gait.

She attains the status of a feature.

She achieves a celebrity in structure

She embarks as a classical  figure.

Oh! she is nothing more than a poor creature

A Miss Out.

It was a miss out which cost dear.

It was a fall which caused a smear.

It was a slip of the tongue that prompted a jeer.

It was a mindless cut that brought a tear.

It was an anger that raised the ear.

It was a danger that caused a terrible fear.

It was a provocation that invited a sneer.

It was a curiosity that called for a look near.

It was a wonder that instigated a peer.

It was a transgression that was slotted for the rear.

Always the miss outs would cost anyone dear.
