Meenas PoemsI look up at the sky
see an object fly
it goes in a line
very much in a straight line
the line continues
is pure white in hue
I set my eyes on the line
follow it to the quickest fine
Could it be a heavenly object?
my analytical mind rejects
Could it be a bird?
never it is heard
Could it be a plane
does it look
so plain?
the line goes on and on
as if a demarcation is shown
without any resolve
i bend my neck down to solve
the issues on the ground
not wishing to decipher the unfound.
A lion on the line
has been on the keen
looking warm in the arms
stood high by a try
coming close with a force
it roared causing a furore
moving around in a bound
looking restless yet breathless
advanced straight on the right
charging heavily almost soberly
causing a devastation without a retribution
then marched ahead with a high head.
Reading line by line
could not get the line
re read it again
still not able to get it fine
Started it all over
going line by line with a fervour
doing it all the more
with patience to the core.
Did get the meaning in a task
as each line came out of the dark
one by one emerging like a lark
finally spurted out like a shark.
With that got the beauty of the text
did not go into
the next
as this sufficed as the best
leaving the mind to rest.
Straight goes the line.
Straight goes the road.
Straight grows the plant.
Straight grows the crop.
Straight stands the man.
Straight stands the animal.
Straight goes the majority.
Straight goes not all .
It is straight everywhere.
What goes not straight?.
It is mind.
A monkey was hopping around,
It was playing in and around,
Jumped on the telephone line,
Lo! down fell the line.
Two others were up to hide and seek,
One hid under the roof in meek,
The other landed crashing on the top,
L0!The roof fell in a flop.
A little one entered the garden,
Pulled the plants in a style modern,
Out came the roots and stems,
Lo!The garden was damned.
The monkey family was into the house,
Leaving the main family to browse,
How to chase them out en mass?
Lo! the thought kept them engrossed.
Before they could disperse,
The entire household was in reverse,
How to resume it to original?
Oh! it would consume hours terminal!
