As huge as an elephant

as ferocious as the lion

as swift as the tiger

as stealthy as the cat

as faithful as the dog

as soft as the cow

as fast as the horse

as foolish as the donkey

as mischievous as the monkey

as with and as all

the animals come on a call

equate we the qualities of man

with the characteristics of the animals

that have the one vital one

while man has many qualifications

a mixture of all in one

mostly they are chemical compounds

inseparablelion ferocious and amalgamated

Well, man is an animal too

with a power of reason

at times secondary to animals

who come out in colours

with the particular sign flagged off.

A Lion On The Line.

lion (1)A lion on the line
has been on the keen
looking warm in the arms
stood high by a try
coming close with a force
it roared causing a furore
moving around in a bound
looking restless yet breathless
advanced straight on the right
charging heavily  almost soberly
causing a devastation without a retribution
then marched  ahead with a high head.

A Less Known Travel

Travelling with an enthusiasm
seeking adventure all throughout
went up a dense forest
situated on a hill little away
where wild animals freely roam.
With the desire to see them
my friend and I jumped into a jeep
drove through the entire forest
going to each nook and corner
around the lakes that lay full
hoping to see the animals loitering about.
Having seen many of them in the zoo
behind the cages morose and sombre
wanted to see them free and at liberty
nestling in the forests thick
nudging each other while walking lazily.
Waiting for long time atop the hills
finding no sign of the animals
raised the engine to maklion a move.
Finally to our delight and alarm at the same time
saw a roaring lion shaking its mane audaciously
marching royally towards us in a stately walk.
Negotiating the turn carefully we made our way
along the road driving hastily in a hurry
On our way came across many other friends mild
the giraffe, zebra and the monkeys
lying in the pathway breathing the fresh air
and munching the green leaves in a relaxed notion.

Looks Are Too Many

Looks are many so many,

Calling for a penny,

Looks are different very different,

Posing an under current.

Looks  take a bird  tone and  an animal  clue,

Expressing a   sensation in queue

First comes the pleasant look,

With a smile and poise,

Next treks in a  beautiful look,

With a glamour and grace

Then comes  in a seductive look,

With a provoke and blaze.

The  Ravenous looks are zealous,

Attributing  a rapacious insinuation,

The Eagle looks are horrendous,

Ascribing to an evil  demonstration

The  Dove looks are melodious,

Gathering a sweet  inclination.

The look of a Lion interprets majesty,

The look of a  Tiger indicates fury,

The look of  a wolf  emits  treachery,

The look of a rabbit exhibits timidity,

The look of a monkey elaborates truancy.

The individual  expressions of birds and animals,

Transcribe and translate in Man’s eye ,

Reflecting his intentions and intonations,

Be it royal, furious,  seductive and pleasant,

Compiling a record of looks too many.
