Down The Lane


Down there goes a car

it is a brand new one

shining black in colour

going behind it were boys

who always love to watch cars

being less privileged  poor ones

they like the sight of cars

and if any new one comes

run behind it to touch and feel

the eyes of these boys

show a dazzle bright

longing to have one such

let them be blessed with tt

wishing them all the opportunities

and means to buy even a better one

Well, that day s not too far

as they are bright and clever

with an aspiration great

be that be this car for the moment.

Having Lived long.


The feel of having lived long

all through the winds fair and foul

having been tossed by tides good and bad

all been seen in the skin and face

that no physical work was there all too

undergone a mental  battle in a cross

nothing came to hand in an easy mode

even to pick a needle small

had to bend and strain the most

as to get hold of one’s own

had to struggle to get a tiny piece

which also ebbed in the final throw

that has been all the life

seeming to be long and winding

hope to depart laughing-old-ladysoon

not similar to the way I have lived

but to get away in a wink

and that be the end of me.

It Has to be Back


It is back to the old place,

 Back to the usual pace,

Back in  the familiar space,

Back into the monotonous race.


All things have a back side,

All time has a back tide,

All levels have a back ride,

All steps have a back slide.

 

Going back home  is a pleasant return,

Reading back is a historical learn,

Falling back is a miserable  spurn,

Back to the original is  never a  possible turn.

 

A firm backing lands all in a  glamorous zone,

Backing detects in all an infirm tone,

An undue backing for  is precarious prone,

Backing also deletes  in all an individualistic  own.

 

Well, getting back to the prescribed text,

It is a back up of all the zest,

Restoring the faculties to the best,

Reaffirming the convictions to a test. 

 

It is back to the regular day,

It is back to the  formal say,

It is at times a strenuous  slay,

But it is  always an indefatigable way.
