Meenas PoemsThe birds cackle all around
calling for their mates in a round
making merry on the grass
pecking the insects in the trash
singing to themselves in glee
going behind the buzzing bee
they converge on a hedge high
exchanging gestures with a shy
they fly low and perch on a tree
their little ones safely be
fondly looking at them for a while
they leave their nests in style
going out to hunt for further more
an investment for them all the more .
Straightening my neck which is aching
I see through my window with a longing
as the window shows me the world
not that world that everyone sees
but my own world of trees and plants
birds and monkeys all around
busy going about with their work
not bothered about rain or shine
nor about rumour or slander
the birds fly about with a search
the monkeys along with a hunt
do some jolly good pranks
all of them keep me entertaining
and I feel blessed and pleased
as being with them relieve
my neck in specific
and assuage my mind in general 
Those who not talk
those who live with us
be them the animals,birds
and reptiles in the go.
know when to eat
and when not to
when to work
and when not to
sleep when to
and when not to
enjoy when to
and when not to
being there the specific time
all in an encompass
that be their routine all the day
never a big change n the fray
they live happily all through
with their kith and kin
never worried about wealth
nor bothered about power
not concerned about the welfare
nor thinking of their future
the day they live
with that be their mirth
no place for greed and hoard
thee be their immense contentment
a difference remarkable
seen in all the world
that of man the greatest living
and that of non talking brood
which lack reasoning
enough being enough
as we understand greatly
that they are far superior
far more happier
than the man who fights
and quarrels for what not and what else.
There is an overcast
be that of the sky
with the clouds turning dark
seeing no Sun in the fore
birds still nestle in their nests
awaiting the sun rise.
The sun is asleep too
far away in the sky
after all days of shining
pretty lazy to get up
and start his work.
This being the state
the world as whole
has not awakened
as the people are deceived
by the sun and its shine.
There being no activity
with clocks all working perfect
with no sign of dawn
the day advances
yet there is seen no life.
The days go in a hurried move
I wonder why they move
if they stay almost so
be not in a steady go
it would be great in the flow
as the leisure would be there
nothing to hurry and take care
else all would be lovely and fair
as there would be no passing of the day
with the clock not moving in a way
the sun ascending lethargically all day
as we slowly munch our break fast
while we sip our tea not in deliberate cast
sitting back leaning on a pillar all the more
with legs drawn straight to the fore
there we relax hearing nature’s song
the orchestra of the birds and insects playing
there we pass and pause with joy
Is that day anything near so as to enjoy?
if that be so close and so near
I would remain in this land without fear
.
The day dawns
with the chirp and chatter
from birds near .
Crows and birds used to gather
crowing and cackling in the morn
making the day bright and gay.
Along with the sun rising high
they come out of their nest.
roaming in the early morning sky
with an aim in mind steady
looking for baits in the garden
collecting them all in leisure
storing them for their little ones
getting the most for the day
feeling that would be enough
satisfied and contented they 
fly back
never bearing the intention to hoard
that being peculiar to the human race.
Birds fly together
from hither to thither
rustling their lovely feathers
on pursuit of a lively gather
they go about searching rather
taking flight a little slower
gaining in height much faster
rounding in the skies 
longer
descending much later
eyeing the bait down nether
devouring them in leisure
fly to a place farther
hunting for a prey greater
soaring up further
returning an hour after
where their young ones eager
wait for their fly back altogether
expecting a wholesome dinner.
The stream flows over
ebbing and etching out
with the fish climbing over
jumping and hopping out
while the birds come flying over
descending in a slow move all out
as the tide goes up and down
so do the fish go in and out
the birds look straight down
trying to catch their bait out
attempting once or twice with a frown
they capture the fish all in a slow down
with that done they fly into the clouds.
The sky is blue
with dark clouds few
appearing dazzlingly new
throwing a beautiful hue
with the birds flying in a queue
presenting 
a graceful designation true.
