The Overflow

The water overflows

with a gushy force

inundates the land around

marshy becomes the surround

the dampness is so soggy

the feet becomes muddy

as we walk through the place

cautious of a fall in  case.

Melancholy sets in gradually

the heart pounds inordinately

could hear a sob intermittently

tears drop down slowly

the face turns puffy

heart-rending it is  totally

as we sit watch helplessly

know not how to stop. immediately.

Situations can be linked to nature

being a great healer

the overflows of the water and feelings

relate to each other without  readings

statistics and data do not  approve

they say it is but a falsity in proves

the parallels might be fictional

yet they have connections perennialwater fllods

The Mirror

Her eyes  are expressive

speak volumes  and volumes

at times emit sadness

that tells stories

of the past and present

need not to hear words

the eyes do tell us

of the events that depressed

the tragedies all through

the struggles underwent

all are stored up in the eyes

that do shed a light

and oppress the heart

with an ambiguity incomprehensible

Well, eyes reflect the thoughts

they are lively and much sought

a part of the human system

very sharp and irreparable

as eyesight is essential

and eyes  do give out

the emulation of the mind

rightly called the mirror

comes out with an image

true to the self.mirror

String of Three

English be not my mother tongue

the primary language I studied

along with my ancient mother tongue

with the flair for  both indeed

I pursued the study

reached the level of masters

not in both actually

English took me over faster came

came out with honours really

worked on my language Tamil too

it came naturally to me

a language with  intricacies not few

hard to get through in glee

French, a lovely tongue musical to the ears

was my second language in college

delighted to read the French literature  for years

these three had made me full fledged

know not how well I write in English,

nor do I know my status in Tamil

dare not I venture to write in French

this way my life goes in peace

stringed  with three languages in ease.string

A Pause.

Nice of you to call me

I am in  an untold glee

want to talk to you

like to see you

a pull back I feel

holds me in a steal

it is hard to refrain

I know it is for a gain

so I patiently wait

hope to see you straight

the day is not far off

I  heartily laugh

Well, that way I reconcile

a pause with a style.pause

I Am An Architect.

What a world I could make?

as all seem to be in a fake

a creation in a dream

with illuminations in a gleam

would be the best possibility

Yes, I see around in style

the land that surrounds me

supplies all I want without trial

I find a cheerful abundance

which call not for any reference

the prosperity  overwhelms

beyond the specified realms

I  hover around with eyes open

I  could spot nothing inferior even in token

the children play and learn with a relish well looked after with

well looked after with a cherish

the aged walk in an elegant stride

share their experience  with pride

not one of them staggers or wobbles

look fresh and free of troubles

the commercial  transact  in terms straightforward

no deals are performed  with an exchange inward

threats of terrorism  have no place

if at all they are  gimmicks in case

hijack is an absentee in the  world  of mine

the hide and seek takes place in a shine

abuse and misuse are not  thought  at all

be them in words, matter or material   in call

women are held in high esteem

never they undergo hardships extreme

distinctions between poor and rich are unknown

as everyone is moderately  well off and well known

with a lovely house and a caring family

a job well paid and no struggle in the rally

the life in my world goes about  happily

a gracious blessing it is hopefully

Well, this would be the world I wish to make

simple as it could be  easy to take

I want no frills or drills along the sides

I require plain transparency with no abide

If this world could be created as I wish

I see a Heaven on earth with  an eternal bliss.

Lovely is my circumspection by all  deeds

Great it would be if I succeed!baby and grandmother .

The World I Make

I wish tobaby-counting live in a world of my own

which I will never disown.

I love a world all for myself

none others to bother the self

been born out of a mother

my thoughts are invalid rather

as I come from the womb

I see many others in the room

the gynecologist and her team

announce the birth with a beam

the crowd around rejoices  aloud

my mother  curls in a shroud

then  I see many faces

which would play a role in phases

I cry in a full-throated ease

as I lie in a distinctive freeze

Could I remake the world?

If so how would it be?

My little fingers unfold

the thumb says in a voice  bold

first there should be no fraud

all things should be straight

conceal nothing from sight

the pointing finger juts out

I foresee an accusation throughout

primarily it counts on behavioural trends

condemns rapes with a mighty bend

the middle finger long and  slim

talks  slowly of the issues in dim

the child abuse is a detraction grave

the  contention of the ring finger is brave

modestly puts forth the hardships of slaves

though it is less  it still plays

the biggest  issue in mind

the tiniest finger finds

the finger drums on Peace  and Contentment

both require a dedication and commitment

my fingers close in a clasp  so tight

reluctant to open out anymore

the child in me wakes up with a startle

preparing to face the  battle

unleashed by the external forces

meantime sleep overtakes me by force

well, could I create such a world as I envisage?

mind you that would prove to be a great salvage

a world without greed, deceit and strain

would be a Heaven where you feel no pain

Could I create such a world?

I would, I swear by my word!

All Seen In A Day

cultivated landRight into the field

which gave a lot of yields

known for its  fecundity

famed for its productivity

found I a prosperity

a sign of wealth in entity

the barns fully stacked

the sheds full of livestock

an abundance  everywhere

illustrates the care

as well as the fare

a scene of grandeur

a picture of great decor

unforgettable in a  way

all seen in a day.

Live By Default

Like to live alone

with thoughts of my own.

Like to live exclusive

wish not to have any inclusive

Like to live quiet

apart from the bustle and riot.

Like to live in a place up

far away from the hubbub.

Like to live unnoticed

well into the shell  reticent.

Like to  live on a hill

where everything is still.

Like to be myself

wish not to ape any self.

These be my rewards and  faults

Well, I live bylive by default default.
