The Kite’s Flight- Allegory

It was a high-flying kite.

It glimmered in the sun-bright.

Carrying the colours red, blue and white,

It rose up and up to great heights.

The children cried in delight.

They were thrilled at the sight.

The kite  enacted a great fight.

It rose up and up to great heights.

The cord that held it extended right.

It, in its elongation, got tight.

The kite faltered in its flight.

Yet, it rose up an up to great heights.

The cord knotted itself in a bite.

The knots closed up to a strangling plight.

The kite made a descent slight.

Alas! it fell down and down from great heights.

Man’s ascent has a tremendous insight.

He muscles and manipulates to reach atop alright.

His movement  gets mulled at a point outright.

He tumbles down  to the ground  like the falling kite.

Precious Envision

Earthquakes have shattered the land,

Tsunami has  devastated the sand

Economy has bewildered  the band,

Demoralizing and disorienting all in hand.

Dollar and Pound   go down the crack

Yen and Yuan  slip into the back,

Euro and Rupee  fold into a rack,

All other currency follow the track.

World wide Economy is in a fearful limbo,

People everywhere are exposed to a violent tornado,

Countries are amidst a crusading crescendo,

Falling into broken pieces without much ado.

It is metals in a limelight hue,

Gold is shining in a yellow brew,

Silver  rising in a brandished true,

All other metals animate the cue.

Predictions go

Gold will clamber to $2000 by December 2011,

Silver will shoot up to $100 by 2011 closure,

Gold and Silver will go to the museums as treasure,

Where they will remain as art pieces  just for pleasure.

Revolution Of Gold

Revolutions  are so  many,

Which break the  thicket   dreary

By committing deeds  bloody,

By  insinuating speeches  fiery,

Resulting in  deadly eventuality.

The Yellow metal soberly,

Has turned the stones briskly,

By  rising gradually ,

To shoot up suddenly,

In a  buzzing move   graphically,

To an unassuming level sporadically.

Revolutions have  an end,

As they have a set trend,

Which is exhibited  in a brand,

Of high  vibrancy and demand,

While slowly the tension disbands,

Settling to  a subdued  strand

Will the same behaviour be  seen?

In the golden sheen.

Which emits an opulence  clean,

Leading to a grand mean,

Masquerading a royal   queen,

Resigning to a  modest lean.

Today it races ahead,

Tomorrow it will  behead,

But the thirst will spearhead ,

A  demanding   price spread ,

Soliciting a tumultuous  thread,

That of  an imposing  surge dread
