The Long Summers.

The summer is early

it hots up dearly

before it was once yearly

now it is present daily

the breeze is hot

men are caught

water is bought

this is what happens

as the summer sharpens

the heat deepens

there is perspiration

there are indispositions

there are propositions

the global warming stems up

left as such would hot up

one has to top up

with ideas for reduction

and strike a note on deduction

along with an introduction

that way the summer could shorten

the other seasons would lengthen

through which the temperatures would lessen

a research and a study should ensure

a back to the old days of moderation in an assure.

The Dress.

A way to dress

as occasions demand

simple and pressed

the best in stand

decent and modest always

never gaudy and provocative

mild designs stitched appropriately

disciplined and not reactive

never an eyesore but eye-catching

extends a respect and admiration

could win over hearts in full

a really reliable mode of conduct

found in the attire you darn not dull

as a dress makes half the person

the rest, of course. is the behave and intellect.

Great And Nothing

The feel of greatness

keeps me awestruck

the thought of nothingness

relates to a daring pluck

both awakens us to a reality

greatness is abstract

and it commands an instability

the pride makes us insecure in fact

nothingness is a vacuum definitely

it lends an emptiness and an alarm

the fear makes us indolent exactly

the apprehension arises from the storm

one being correlated to the other

pride and insecurity coordinate

greatness and nothingness do bother

with the same tenor not in a deviate.

Dialogue Turns Monologue.

There be a dialogue

cannot call it a dialogue

it is a monologue

a conversation between two

where the one is slow

the other one more garrulous

talks all the more meaningless

tells of her beauty in no ordinary terms

while the quieter one listens with a firm

the talkative goes on and on with no break

the silent spectator stares at him without a take

the eyes get tired and wink now and then

the mouth never minces a word in strength

the dialogue turns into a monologue

happens all the time whenever I log

that be the way along the stream

where one glitters with a gleam

the other shines with a dream.

The shortcomings and shortfalls

should never take the call

their suffix short interprets clearly

they are for period very short exactly

never make a fuss of a shortcoming

be it an enquiry of death or birth

be it a greeting missed or mirth

could be an oversight or intentional

do not think it is irrational or rational

let you examine yourself thoroughly

then point your finger at others firmly

without the self-analysis nothing turns

remember that and go ahead without spurn

the newborn is innocent about that prevails

the dead have flown from these worldly travails

reminds me of those who are alive and lively

do at times keep away from each other knowingly

recall a forgotten one and make it an issue knowingly

the same could be said of shortfalls

they are simple when reviewed not pitfalls

could not we who breathe live in peace?

that would bring about benevolence with please.

Fear A Quick Rise.

Words come to me very slowly

and I write very lethargically

go through it again very lazily

sit there with a gaze unwittingly

my writings are simple as such

there is no great effort as much

I write with a simple touch

neither a satire nor an allegory

either be it a poem sans glory

I write in an ordinary style

never refer any file

this is my attempt and a try for long I fly

for long this is how I fly

almost without any slide

as it is easy to glide

and move up gradually

as I fear quick rise very truly.

The day yesterday

indeed a taxing day

a drive up and down

on a road of ups and downs

the sun was never up and down

it shone all through the ups and downs

have to negotiate every up and down

returned on the same road of ups and downs

once back home rushed up and down

arranged the house which was upside down

fell on the bed not up and down

dreamt of events that ranged up and down

The isms on the go

with a realism on the flow

the suffix “Sur ” with realism

turns into surrealism

one of a thyroid deficiency

marked by hyperthyroidism

contradicted by hypothyroidism

along with the interaction impairment

called as the dreaded autism in

an impeccable charisma is idealism

while destiny is associated with fatalism

enters the royalty with imperialism

the less space is affirmed as minimalism

these are the major isms along with the minority

dualism and parallelism in priority

the pragmatism refers to the practical

thus, they occupy with no schisms

well defined by the rising metabolism.

Fairest. Poetry

Mirror, mirror on the wall
who is the fairest of all?
each one of us has this call
whether we are tall
or look like a dumb doll
round and plump like a ball
no matter what we are in self
we are proud of our self
say to the mirror
“I am the fairest of all.”
