Pockets of dirt found in the corners.
Pockets of land looking not flat.
Pockets that are visible
Pockets that lay camouflaged
Pockets big stitched in dresses .
Pockets small adorning the kids wear
So being pockets all in the fray
there arises a bump on the way
an accumulation in the sway
finally a 
resource in the bay.
Ending up the day
with a note of gay
bringing cheer in the way
along with a lovely say
that being one of play
the economy is out of bay
as it has started to pay
setting aside its lethargic lay
delivering a sparkling ray
promising a bright array
with a wonderful inlay.
It being a day of activity
where everyone was busy.
there arose a flutter hasty
that of a small intruder bouting in crazy.
He steadily moved to the safe room
having a mask and a gun
brandishing the gun around the gloom
brought the operations to a halt soon.
The staff ran scared here and there
he caught hold of them unaware
pushing them inside the room over there
broke open the safe with much care.
In no hurry took everything valuable
came out with the bounty
locked the office with a key almost impenetrable.
walked away with enormous glee.
Those in the room could not come out
with the telephone line snapped
and electricity cut off almost
had to stay there all day long locked
How swiftly and easily things are done?
beguiling the security measures modern
The surveillance cameras and security alarm are fun
as they fall much below the man’s strategy in turn.
My back yard with trees huge
expressing greenery all around
turned white in a deluge
a change different and unsound.
With none of us at home that day
with appointments elsewhere
the builder next door in a way
dug a bore without any care.
The peat soil flew all over
clothing the lovely trees white
with the ground drenched by a sand shower
Oh! it was a very ghastly sight.
With the white attire intact
the trees remained horrible
and with no rains in fact
they were destined to be so in all possible.
The builder went about unbothered
many calls and warnings were left answered
Town planning rules being not followed
perhaps broken by bribes in silent method.
The world thus moves on in mirth
where the law breakers find a way out
as their wrong doings go in stealth
the rightful stand to lose all throughout.
Saw a bunny
it looked funny
gnawing a carrot
squeaking like a parrot
went running uphill
came tumbling downhill
looking like a snow ball
responding to the call
it was a visual treat
keeping one upbeat.
Going by the days that have gone by
what a time it was recollected without shy
the days I played hopping with my friends
the years I worked to get through in trends
the hours I spent in preparing for the examinations
the minutes I 
lost myself in observations
the seconds that led me to risky foreclosures
all come to my mind in a packed enclosure
making me to sit back with a relaxation
and also ponder over with a redemption
calling for an immediate renunciation
alienating the earthly wishes from the occupation
accepting what comes in the way as a lively revenue
expecting no further bonus or perquisites in retinue.
This tryst being assumed in determination
will find a way out in timely duration.
I planted a lemon tree
and with it another a little away.
The two grew in great spree
one beating the other in a way
healthy and lovely they grew
from a sapling to a plant fine
tuft and green in hue
a little while after with a shine
came out the flowers tiny
blossoming with a nice fragrance
thence shot up the little fruit shiny
dark green and small in reference
with mounted anxiety watched the fruit
that became bigger and bigger
turning yellow slowly in the shoot
it was a sight very magnificent in vigour
with a yellowish green display
enhancing the environment with a colourful play.
With my sons living far away
with the timings in a stray
one might be getting up with the morn
the other would be retiring in a worn
whilst the third be involved in work all through
as a mother I make no calls in true
fearing I would distract them
and really disturb them
but wait in anxiety to hear their voice
a day without talking leaves me with no choice
as there surrounds a gloom and a worry
while my heart pounds with a query
as how they are getting on in distant lands
hoping they are well without any difficult stands
so the day passes on the whole
dull and dim, moving without a goal
Well, that has become my routine nowadays
eagerly looking out for their return in a gaze.
On the hillock
there loitered a bullock
which had a knock
falling on a rock
making the land rock
and the soil lock
it was not a mock
but a genuine shock
everyone had to flock
by going up the block
with effort released the bullock.
Away from ny home for a while
coming back saw in style
high raised apartments round me
with hundred eyes peering down at me
a thing unusual and a strange schedule
as had lived through all along in a seclude
with none living around all the way
accustomed to a private and solitary sway
this sudden prop up brings in an awe
that usurps the tranquillity in raw
shattering the privacy to a great extent
leaving a dazed feel and a deal different
