Death Of Enthusiasm


The enthusiasm gets constrained

when the expense comes into force.

The  restriction sends a fear

which signals a withdrawal.

it might  be temporary or for long

but the initial grace disappears.

 

Monetary allowance plays the supervision

with a check on the expenditure,

The excess spending would lands in debt

while the less expenditure would bring no  result

leaving  the thing unfinished  and incomplete

implying a moderation in the go.

 

Many a spirited project  do not take off

as the financials pose a threat.

The thought of money shatters the imagination

as the flow gets behind  with a pull back

slowly fades away into  the oblivion

Identity Cards.


Identity cards give a value they say 

They carry a significance in the way 

  Most countries do have these cards

 without which there arises a crisis instead.

 Certain  countries with dense population

 get nowhere in determining the verification

 as the free flow in citizenship multiplies 

making it hard to supervise in applies 

no such identities exist  at all  in countries 

 the process in itself is laborious and defective images (16)

with corrections and deletions getting through 

additions and  references  get out of purview

 the procedure gets no way near

 as the finality gets postponed to the rear

nothing come out fruitful and hopeful

as the cards are thrown into the bin once more.

Magic is exciting

with a show and skill

keeping us glued

making us thrilled

while we watch gaping

all through the show tantalised.

 

Now magic spills all over

round every corner

with the governance

including the business

transforming the failures

greatly into success  obvious.

 

Magic lies in the swiftness

where the speed blindfolds

but how do other  scripts

get into this delectable fold

with a strike and force.

 

Keep wondering about

when media tells  in a flout

that giant conglomerates

turn overnight in a bang

with  a magical touch .

 

Doing some adjustments

enforcing the  amendments

paving way for  rise in  revenue

with a hype says the new  executive

All done in a month, leaving one awe-struck magic

The Nine Nights In India


Festivals during this season being colourful

with the nine nights decked wonderful

keeping Gods and Goddesses on steps nine

all looking gay and painted fine

each step standing for the attitudes

chivalry, kindness and beatitude

with the idols flanked by animals

which symbolise their ride in minimal

followed by vendors ,grocers, and leaders

all displayed to add interest to  the onlookers

with the touch of ancient and modern as well

alongside they display parks and temples with bells

befitting the imagination of the one who crafts

and arranges with a thematic concept   of art

the traditional celebration with the present coordination

that of science and technology  adding to the reverberation

called as Ggoluolu or Dassera in South India

while referred to as Durga pooja in North India

where all in a way people pray and   enjoy

while concerts of dance and music go gay

as most temples echo the happiness with a grand grasp

where the Goddess sits on the tiger resembling a clasp

the nine days make the towns and cities a place of devotion

as  a teeming crowd visit the temples to witness the invocation

the throng purely immerses itself into the throbbing  ecstasy

losing themselves in aesthetic feel  and melodious  chanting  of mantras

Phailin With Noise.


The cyclone Phailin  raged across the east coast

breaking through the  deadly silence with a toast

crashing on the banks with a bang at the utmost

shattering the inhabitation  in violence   almost

blowing through the  seas with a  velocity

creating a sonorous guffaw with alacrity

wanting to devour  in a splashy flash

all it could in vociferous gigantic gush

as the villagers around cried  beating on their head and heart

the destruction led to a crumble and a tumble ancyclone-phailin  impact great

with people wailing  and running  aghast  in fear

looking for the lost lives  and  belongings without cheer

as their world cracked under  a thunderous  storm  very near.

Seasonal Boycott


Seasons do not change in flow

as the warming gets going in slow

seasons are static and sultry

boycotting the natural  diplomacy seasons

with spring  extending warmth mostly

then  comes summer  generating heat  greatly

followed by autumn casting hotness nominally

ending up with winter showing  stuffiness unnaturally.

What Am I To Do?


I work hard  day and night

Toiling all through the years

never a time for leisure all these years

I have made millions  without fear

no not but billions something near.

 

Bequeathing it to my sons  with love  ardent

distributing to my grandchildren with a desire fervent.

reserving hefty revenue and great wealth

extensively to my progeny  in stealth

not minding my failing health.

 

They would be a fortune for my sons greatly

would  a treasure for my progeny substantially

I earn with a an earnestness and drive

destroying the streams and rivers in a dive

killing everything that are alive.

 

Dividing the fertile lands  into plots

selling them for higher price in a slot

felling the trees irrationally

uprooting the hills   callously

all for money incidentally.

 

Involving myself in sand mining

getting a handsome return in the inning

profits come from all directions

with sand, stones leading to a resurrection

land and water lending a correction.

 

Today my children buy potable water

with a land getting hotter and hotter

they  travel far just  to inhale fresh air

while their inhabitation has become bare

granting a negligible care.

 

As of now  medical expenses drive them mad

they stare at me with anger and are sad

holding  a grudge  against me straight

and accuse me openly for a cause right

alleging that I have spoilt their life  forthright.destruction

( Pained by seeing the unmindful destruction of nature fro wealth, I wrote this poem.

It is a representative personification  where the imagination gets ahead  exploiting the anguish

and bitterness experienced)
