A Throw With Zest.


The tadpoles and the frog

give a not so likely shrug

as to every other they are a bug

very much away from the tug.

 

With the distaste and ill will

we go about in  dislike  still

calling for frogs and tadpolesa unrequired bill

that remains crossly  in the fill.

 

With the hop and jump

the tadpoles come from dump

with the frogs looking plump

exposing in the middle a heavy bump.

 

As the duo pop out from the marsh

slapping the mud in strokes  harsh

croaking with a double tone  in bass

loitering about in a meandering cross.

 

Singing about frogs and tadpoles is rare

as they look unpleasant and bare

while none take a positive care

as the frogs and tadpoles are  not fair.

 

Being unattractive and looking not the best

they do not command any preference in test

as all nurture a great hatred  to them than the rest

they hastily  throw them out with a zest.

Years Ago And Years Down


Once a quiet suburb

now a teeming hub

when a few lived around in past

while thousands  go about in present

when there was no shops all over

where now are giant malls and towers

when it was a walker’s paradise

while now it is an accident prone dias

where it was a zone eco-friendly

while now it is a place of polluted alley

when it was  a healthy explore

now i becoming  a  dire deplore

when it was a receiver of lively downpour

now i a deceiver of rainy outpour.

where years ago there was peace

while years down there is only chaos.

Such is the play of age not only on human

but also on earth labelling it with bad omen..

Curses And Swears.


Curses and swears have a long share

as people from times long  had a care

that was absolutely not very fair

but had a trace of care

a worry above all in  fare.

 

With a worry in mind

the receiver had a bind

as he felt perplexed in mind

as to what it would lead to find

something very much far behind.

 

With an ill will in thought

the doer gets on to the taught

as he targets all in a sort

as to what it would bring to a lot

Swears also get without a clue

The Shutdown.


Shutdowns are seen in industries 

when they go out of money

else they claim hefty compensation  enormously

the closure comes into effect normally

 

Too many closures are there

as recession sets in with the fall down

where global economy crumbles into tear

causing a topsy turn and a tumble-down.

 

Now seeing the shutdown  in a nation

which once was the pride of the world

as the blockage is from the opposition

stalling the passage of the economy bill  .

 

The shutdown has come into effect

with the country getting into the nerve

where the essentials are not in defect

only the non vital fall into the curve.

 

The United States is feeling the scarcity

an ironical snapshot of the emergence

when the country is coming out from alacrity

stopping its advance with the repugnance.

 

Shutdowns is a distraction

auguring not well with the turn

as it is coming out of economic hibernation

Mother And Son.


Mother keeps saying 

she is not partial

but the children keep saying

that she is. very partial.

 

Not denying the fact  some mothers do

when they have wealth

giving more to one in a go

and less to other in stealth .

 

A mother with no means

cannot do injustice by course

Knowing that the children by all means

kill her by bargaining  her too much by force.

 

Making her suffer  much

as she feels desolate

wanting to die greatly as such

before the destined period in isolation.

 

As she  at a point of time

gets  unable to endure

wishing to die before her time

 where everything was well

 about a man who fell

 straight into the  deep well

while there rang the death knell

 as  the man lay in  hell

struggling in pain with  a quell

sobbing and weeping all throughout

when the help  reached out

Exhilaration Inciting


A little flower in the garden

 winked at me without pardon

 while I opened  at dawn 

my window wide and drawn.

 

Winking back at her with affinity

with an expressive smile infinitely

I went out to her with an affability

intending to see her   closely.

 

She was beautiful from  proximity

almost like a new-born in entity

with tender petals gleaming glossy

exuding a glimmer  great and shiny.

 

Badly wanted to touch her lovingly

afraid she would get hurt terribly

stood admiring her for a while happily

assimilating her beauty  greatly.

 

The visual delight was images (2)awe-inspiring

so was the mental peace  transpiring

being for a few moments involving

yet gave an  exhilaration inciting.

A Piece of Advice.


Storing things at the attic

keeping them intact in shape.

away from the termite attack

cleaning and dusting every week

seem to be fine  and easy

when the going is  good

when there is  help around

when the age is by your side

with the assistance becoming scarce

with the spirit getting  weak

with the age registering its toll

the collection  proves bothersome

forcing a clearance in a way

somehow or other they need to be cleared

either for money or  as  a donationtermite attack

whichever suits you most

take it the right stride

and get ahead on time.
