go with a deal when done
let it be a superficial
might it be a surreal
the apprehension tears apart
though apparently it is fought
with a determination great
that be the real fate
of too many in the go –
not possible to sustain the blow
that of evils of witchcraft
implicated with a poignant shaft.

Gone with a wind
no remnants of any 
kind
to hold us in bind
as they are well behind.
No trace of them whatsoever
forgotten forever
think of them never
then you become clever.
Flown by the storm
they are without a form.
lie in the infinity calm
inflict no harm.
Past is very far away
no remorse be in the way.
go ahead in gay
that be the path always.
When I have nothing to do
I turn to Nature
as it is always in the go
has in it a regular feature
dawn and dusk to dark 
it rolls on every day almost
sun, wind or rain in sight
it revolves with a vigour most
seen with a bloom here
semblance of a fade there
Nature is never tired
unlike me who cries
for the trivia in a sob
the heart sends a throb
I sit there with down cast eyes
Nature smiles at me cheerfully
Of course, with no ties!
Throw concepts on the wall
just fix them tall
leave them there in all
never bother to pursue them to call
an attack would be sensible to fall
otherwise it would be an addiction in small
carry with it nothing in crawl
a statement let out in all
take it or leave it is your call
that is the choice of a poet
who writes with sincerity in quiet.
Born in a family of great affluence
trained in fine arts from age four
music, dance and instrumental
were part of life with the fundamental
schooled in the best convent
graduated with honours and rank
an apple of the parent’s eye.
great was the life till she was twenty.
Came twenty with a bang
marriage rushed in with a twang
wedded into a family of frugality
a cheek on the go was the finality
turned she into a wife all in a sudden
bore she the yoke of burden
found she in an alien household
style and niceties on hold.
Forgot she her tunes and rhythm
became she one among the crowd
did she all the chores in diligence
had no time to think of her old days
tossed by the in-laws all the more
turned a ghost of herself in short
lost she her qualities of grace
aped she the crudities of the place.
Time flew , forty years later
discovers she her youthful attire
that of song and poetry with ardour
goes she to her veena with a fervour
Lo ! her knees ache all the way
stands she with tears in her eyes
starts to sing a song of her days
oh ! her voice cracks all the way.
That be her today
longs she to get back to the golden days
tries hard with disciplinary diligence
Oh ! finds herself in the place still
easy to turn and look back with a feel
misty is the recollections hard to retrieve
life has taken the toll all too much
sits down she desperate with hands folded.
An old man out there
lives in despair
a king so long
committed actions wrong.
A rigid man without respite
fell a prey to a spite
knowing or unknowing right
now wallows in ignominy bright.
Thrown he now out of his fiefdom
has become so inactive and dumb
looks he a puppet with a drum
comical character of his erstwhile kingdom.
Childless he is, this wealthy man
adopted a son from his own clan
who hatched out a clever plan
that entrapped the old man.
Knows
not how to come out
the old lion seems worn out
Would he regain his strength?-a doubt
worry his kin all throughout
Saw through a window
two plantain trees over and above
nestled they close to each other
looked like affectionate brothers
their leaves seemed to bid
their greenery was one of mirth
the potency was one of great wealth
not that of monetary in a sense
but that much of gregariousness
compiled with thought in diligence
the leaves store a lot of chlorophyll
long and broad at the same time
enough to hold many a dish in fill
their flowers are most unusual
look they towards the earth in a dual
have a unique colour of their own
a blend of red and pink in tone
hold they inside a store of values
medicinal to the most in a clue
drive they the toxins from body
its stalk seem so tender
yet have great qualities to render
they too have a strain acclaimed
befit they to the fame
nurture they the medicinal properties
fit enough to expel the kidney stones
the bananas that come out in stock
turn golden-yellow in a block
savoury they are all the more
delicious and sweet they are
eaten fresh or made into a milk-shake
become a curry when unripe
whilst they are still green
sauté with chilly and salt
fried deep or baked soft
A gifted plant or a tree whatever
you might call with pleasure
a sight lovely to look at
with awe and gratia true.
A fortnight it is since
satisfied with a rinse
confined to bed all through
coughed with all might in true
temperature high throughout
could do nothing in real
lay there with eyes on the tile
a horrible fortnight in all
have scathed through the great fall.
If it recurs once again
know not how to deign
the suffering is one of hardest
has kept me from all at the farthest
could be termed as a battle
made me toss in bed with a prattle
talked disoriented in delirium
lost the coveted equilibrium
a nightmare now gone.
It is a rose again
that promotes a gain
it is not a feign
but seen very plain
a beauty in form
above all norms
no measurements in straight
random and bright
colourful it is through
a lovely rose in hue
petals soft as drops of dew
around the birds fly
the butterfly zooms
the rose gives a room
with a lively bloom
dispels their gloom
that be the rose again
promotes a vast gain.
Breathlessness sets in
the heart batters up and down
a whistle heard
