Man Makes Them All.

The air around gets  choked,

The voice of most becomes hoarse,

Many cough violently.

A metallic sound emanates –boo,boo.

Fumes rise up from far,

The eyes turn  blood-red,

Tears flow down in  a dizzy.

A sobbing sound gets in         – hiss,hiss,

Vehicles produce carbon  emissions,

Choking man and nature together,

Implicating a catastrophe deliberately.

A chaotic commotion wakes up    – ugh , ugh

Cigar smoking  emit carcinogenic  tobacco

The lungs become weak,

Short of breath triggers fatality.

A silence  is remarkably felt.

Who makes all these?

The powerful  man makes them all,

To aid him  in his ventures plausibly,

A voiceless, cheerless , breathless, dead man emerges.

Grass Grows

The stretch of grass over there,

Beautifully cut  and tended with care,

Where the sparrows descend in pair,

Chirping and chattering in a lovely fair.

Grass grows say some with disdain,

They know not the pleasure we gain,

Speak lowly of Nature’s fine  train,

Unaware that the grass looks like a shrine.

The tired eyes see  structures of concrete,

Massive and monstrous revealing a mistreat,

Sending a sensation of nauseated beat,

Signalling a direction of regretful greet.

The greenish hue  amidst the concrete jungle  is invisible

Stones and mortar have overwhelmed the  preamble,

The artificial  landscape is but a poor cousin to natural ramble,

Letting out a desolate morbidity in a shamble.

Yet grass grows in whatever space possible,

Only to be uprooted to make way for skyscrapers reliable,

Sealing the fate of the environment to a trouble,

Ensuing a crash of the equilibrium in a loud decibel

Smoky Fumes

Smokes leave a disenchantment,

Wherever they are found,

Whenever they surround,

However much they abound.

White fumes from the  burning red,

Emanates  from a large fire,

Engulfing the atmosphere,

Polluting  the ecosphere.

Black fumes from the exhaust ,

Signifies a deadly  pollutant,

Carbon and soot are the resultant,

Afflicting the stratosphere  in  fluent.

Hot fumes rise up the chimney,

While cold air sinks down,

Making the neighbours frown,

Also  they disturb Nature’s crown.

Light fumes from the cigar,

 Drawn into the mouth effortlessly

Puffing variant flavours wholesomely,

In every direction  effectively.

Mercy is twice blessed,

Blesses the one that gives,

And the one that takes,

Balancing the trades.

Smokes all  in general,

Cigars in particular,

Kill  one  who consumes,

And the one who inhales.

Energy Woes

Detecting various forms of energy,

Man settles down carefully,

As his inventions take care,

He rests in great comfort,

While all his necessities are attended to,

By electrical, thermal, and nuclear energies,

Keeping him cool during summer,

Giving him warmth in winter,

Aiding him in industrial production,

Helping him  in domestic errands,

He relaxes in utmost peace,

Until a disaster strikes,

With the disruption of all conventions,

The electricity snaps,

Plunging the world in darkness,

The thermal supply at service

Both in good and bad times

Spreads environmental hazard,

While the nuclear plant,

Erupts with a break of radiation,

That keeps him maimed and cancer prone,

Prolonging it to generations,

Promoting a fatal mishap,

Destroying humanity slowly.

Inducting a slow killing ,

And a painful suffering,

Making us think twice,

Whether the man-made feats,

Are worthy or not?

Air In Awe.

The atmosphere that encircles the world,

Consists of gases nettled in a   fold,

Oxygen stands affront as bold,

Nitrogen , hydrogen, and the rest   are in  hold,

Supporting the life system  as told.

The air we breathe and inhale,

Is laden  with impurities  stale,

Consisting of carbon emission trail,

Tainted  with  polluted tries in detail,

Oppressing the breath to a frail.

The pollution sucks the existence,

Driving the capacity of resistance,

As the disease spreads in great hesitance,

Deluding the force of   tolerance,

Thus breaking the natural defence.

The saddled environmental tedium,

Gets  immersed  in an embedded medium,

Of chemical and inorganic  delirium,

 Which release  a poisonous  curriculum,

Suffocating the  entire human symposium.

It is a suicidal threat of  behaviour,

Where  human  deficiencies  is seen  in a metaphor,

Entwining the grenade and bombs in a fritter,

Squashing the  ethical phenomenon  to a shatter,

Raising an infidel infirm sepulchre.

Earth In Dearth

Land, mountains and rivers comprise the earth,

Where people, animals and birds find their berth,

Man takes the upper  coveted  class by choice,

Constructing  houses like random toys,

Animals roam in the woods,

Surviving on whatever available food,

Birds  nestle in  the beautiful trees,

Eating the fruits and berries,

Each species  lead their own life,

Unmindful of  Mother Earth’s strife.

The  colony of the inhabitants  bears their  harsh governance

Revolving round its axis  undeterred by their  ruthless   irreverence.

It extends a progressive prosperous significance,

In the form of  formidable crops,  rich minerals, and other expensive  reference,

It keeps its children in best comfort and  noble ease,

By rendering a  cherished enjoyable appease,

Nurtures them with great affection and extreme  kindness,

Granting  the inhabitants with superior  benign  loveliness.

The occupants of earth treat her  rashly,

By building  oppressing concrete jungles  on her madly,

The dwellers crash her  heavenly splendour,

By teasing her potentiality with chemical wonder,

The inhabitants destroy her imperious posture,

By indulging in wicked  unbearable torture,

Of tilling and tilting. digging and deepening

Into the deep treasures  latently  lying,

In the ever fertile womb of   the earthly mother,

Who mercifully  expresses  a smiling  contentment altogether.

Fire In The Blaze.

The reddish dazzling fuming wave,

Seen from a long distance away,

Looks like a ball of fiery  rave

Blazing and gleaming in a ray

Emitting incorrigible heat  in a save,

Ranging across a mountainous  sway.

The raging fire rises in leaps and bounds,

Spreading its terrible wings over every snare,

Sneaking through the  secure corners all around,

The dry leaves  strewn  across catch the fare,

 The fuming stifling smoke abound,

Rendering a grotesque surround.

The sudden burst of flame makes  a retreat,

By slowly dying down in a meek glee,

Committing a  horrible disaster upbeat,

Striping life and matter all in a spree,

The stain and tarnish appears as a feat,

Inducting an awful frightening flee.

The reason behind the seductive blaze,

Remains a mystery all over,

May be it is due to a deficit of human race

Who by their   feverish  foolish  hover,

Cause  a turmoil  in a successive phase,

Refuting   a  permanent  recover.

Water In The Flow

Water surrounds the earth as sea and ocean,

Covering three-fourths of the portion,

Encircling the vast land notion,

With a chivalrous secure caution

The lashing rain cools the soil

Relieving the farmers of their toil

Streams overflow in a gorgeous  coil,

Renewing the vigour in the  lively boil.

The surplus water gushes into the lane,

Flooding  the thoroughfare  again,

It rushes  into the gutters like an insane,

Flows  into the sea  causing much pain.

There is an erring   withhold of usage,

The customary  projects of ancient age,

Have been dumped into the garbage.

Creating a reckless  disoriented seepage.

Much of the benefits of rain have been thrown out,

By undue indifference and irreverence throughout,

As we resort  not to conservation of this resource  all out,

But indulge in  absolute deviation of programmes in tout.

The ponds and pools have become plots,

The rivers and streams  are sandy slots,

The oceans and seas  look as disdained clots,

Water in there assumes  dirty blots.

The benign source is thwarted by all,

The little drops from the eyes  fall,

An unknown sadness presses like a ball,

As the heart  sobs and screams at the brutal call.

Understand! The power of water is enormous,

 As its blessings are bounteous,

 Also note!Its destruction is voluminous,

Creating a desolation  ignominious.

Sorry Ma

I accept you as an embodiment of all goodness,

I admire you as an exuberance of all greatness.

I envisage in you,

Mother nature, the distinction  that  behest,

Be it patience,

Where you show an extraordinary  passivism

Be it  tolerance,

Where you propose an  enormous  aphorism,

Be it  understanding,

Where you  muster an enigmatic realism.

Be it creativity,

Where you throw  an emphatic  motivism,

Be it discipline,

Where you  promote an energetic activism,

Be it  servitude,

Where you  serve with utmost nativism,

Be it reconciliation,

Where you express an untoward  impressionism.

Overwhelm us with accurate naturalism

But  we ma.

Display an unmindful negligence,

Dispose an unnerving forbiddance,

Detract an apprehensive reference,

Demolish an associative concurrence,

Destroy  an inimitable confluence,

Devastate an informative recurrence,

Distributing  an unethical  disturbance.

Casting an illegitimate arrogance .

Realising the combusting applications on you,

Recognising the provocative  distillations on you,

I with folded hands  and tearful eyes,

Apologise for the complications ,

We have committed on you,

Sorry Ma!!

OnceUpon A Time -A river.

Going across the river,

I found a  gathering ,

Of dirt and dust,

Which made me shiver,

 Traversing   the stagnant  water,

I saw   a murky   brown  and black,

Of mud and plastic,

Which  defined a slaughter.

Moving past the contaminated  river,

I smelt a foul and stinking ,

Of drain and ditch,

Which sent a  quiver

Hurried rapidly from the waters,

Once a pride of the town,

Now a sordid disaster,

Bearing man’s  ignominious quarters
