came she with a bump,
With a look here and a look there
came she with a lump.
With a grouse here and a grouse there
came she with a stump.
With a force here and a force there
pushed she everything into a dump
With a frown here and a frown there
turned she her face in a grump.
With a fat here and fat there
appeared she plump.
With an adieu here and an adieu there
went she making all numb.
Having been brought in a close-knit family
with a discipline strong and great
monitored from a distance daily
with the scrutinising eyes on a follow
knew not what is love?
Love, I mean that of man to woman
never thought of love and dating
never had a chance to date in a betting
as wedding became an arranged on in a setting
started to love the groom with grace.
Loving after marriage seems strange
but that was my permissible range
the exchanges even after came under a gauge
with the coyness discreetly extended in a strange
everything remained subtle in an arrange.
With marriage the love grew
became a bind inseparable all true
as years took wings in a flew
the bond thickened with a glue
standing tall and high with fervour due.
Falling in love has its own constraints
with people calling it love without restraint
mostly centering round man and woman
as other things do not fall in common
that of loving the fellow human
not in a way as the expectation run
but in the normal as a man to man
with kindness and assistance extended
and picking up affection with the flow
seeing a child of enchanting beauteous glow
with the combination of smartness
all well-defined in Nature in its greatness
exhibiting a row of gracious elements
that of air, water,fire, earth and space
appealing to the eyes in a pace
provoking an affinity all too fine
generally called as love in shine
henceforth encompassing the stream
with love and delight expressed with a beam.
Love does not confine itself to man and woman as felt
but goes beyond that as told crossing all belt.
I dreamt for a time
got up after some time
found nothing in rhyme
as I lost the rhythmic rhyme.
Long lasting they say
when you yourself
last not long in a way
why go for 
long-lasting of else?
Truth is bitter and sour.
Speaking it needs power.
Talking straight is never
a habit in the cover
demanding sincerity ever
Lies come in a clamour
Facilitating them with glamour
has become a passionate amour
bringing with it an exercise of grammar
elaborating with feign demeanour
Truth is slow and is a struggle
With an initial setback and bungle
it falters in every possible juggle
then gets ahead deliberately in a snuggle
never pushing in a through a smuggle.
Lies are quick and shining
coming in tens and hundreds in teasing
as one lie leads to another in piling
setting the stage for rigging
culminating in an illicit trafficking.
With that lies being an easy format
men chose to go by that stat
gaining in terms in no mean brat
while truth is no mean doormat
fighting a very difficult combat.
As such the eventual lies live short
with ostentation and glory bought
but with truth being caught
by jugglery and manipulation of sort
has a life long-standing above all thoughts.

The choice is classic
looking very chic
with the outer frame not thick
while the inner look is sleek
grand and great it seems
lively and cheerful it beams
shining and twinkling it gleams
as it expressed a poetic seam
delightfully outstanding
an art piece to be cherished
an artist who has to be honoured.
Crosswords take the mind off
letting in a concentration in a laugh
where the focus is on solving
as the puzzle goes on prolonging
pushing one to resolve fast
have to possess patience to last
accomplishing the task on time
requires great skill and rhyme
which is not found in many
with only a few having any
love and desire to indulge
as the work needs a grudge
and grit to win over straight.
Life being a crossword
with happenings wayward
the competition being heavy
and the challenges in levy
few walk out with bowed head
while the rest camouflage instead
posing they have achieved great
but in truth they are below the rate.
Calling for water
queuing up in roads for water
walking miles for a pot of water
has become the way in charter
of M
adurai in this quarter
seeming like a barter
not a worthwhile carter
as primarily water
has become a matter
that strikes with a clatter
the scarcity is not a flatter
it is a real shatter
converting the land to a totter
and the people to chatter
about the pernicious slaughter
of the environment to a disaster
making it unfit to live hereafter.
Barring a few
the rest in the long queue
got impatient with the procedures new
which seemed to be without clue
have to wait with tolerance in blue
grumbling and mumbling in rue
Well. that has been the way in true
as one has to go with in diligence 
due
giving merit to the rules through and through
as a rush would bring a break and a slew
ransacking the whole issue in a violent brew
delivering the result in a doleful hue
converting it into a programme to sue.
