Eating The Cream.

Eating the cream
and leaving the pie
has been his habit
gulps every delicacy
as soon as it is laid
quickly and avariciously
This culture has been inbred
and he has inherited it
from his ancestors perhaps
I know not from whom
or is it his quality private
as the years have made him old .
lest, what a fool
am I to think like that
as he is a find
from the lower
coming from a family
which has money
but no culture
and added to that
ha has no basic education
to amend and go through
life in fashion.

Eruption and Friction.

A well manicured lawn.
a stretch of green with a shine
looking like a green carpet
with no designs but plain
plain throughout without
ups and downs or bumps and flats
pleasing to the eyes
giving to the eyes a pleasant treat wise
as the eyes have been always seeing
concrete structures tall and high
without anything green around
as all the trees and plants have been felled down
to host the tall sky scrapers in the bound
presenting a lifeless idiom of mechanism
with tall high risers installing air conditioners on each floor
getting high and high is a process
stifling to the environment on whole
as it has to bear all the structural weight
without any sharing as sizes broad would give a spread out
and be less taxing leaving the Mother earth in an equal balanced gravity
whilst the floors over floors pressure the land
more and more to a situation
when it could tolerate no more
but burst angrily like a furious volcano

Tale of Greed.

Greed takes you to places
long away and not imaginable.
With the greed overwhelming
you would find yourself
in a place of fortune where everything
is fantastic and fastidious all in a bloom
wallowing in wealth while swallowing other peoples money.
This being one part of the game
when greed surpasses and surmounts
it would take you to a place least thought of
least interested in and more or less a place
which hosts disdain and terror in a mix
where corrupt and criminal get in
where robbers and murderers join hands
and where the hands are cuffed
where you have to put up with
immeasurable rudeness and unfathomable hardships
sentenced to jail waiting in tenseion
for your lawyer to come and take you in bail.
Really do you need to possess such a quality?
Think before you desire.

The House.

The house was full
with the noise in range
shouting at one end
at the top of voice
over an issue unfamiliar
throwing things about
gesticulating in anger
coming near to a fight with fists
throwing shoes at each other
a collision in its he heights
a confrontation in its strength
Wishing to know which house it was?
it was the House of Parliament
where sessions go without any serious transactions
but work on some frivolous useless issues
wasting the people’s money in irrelevant arguments
and making the country rest without governance.

Serenity Settles.

It was eight in the morning
thought it was only six
as the morning was not as bright
as it usually is
with darkness still hanging
and a lovely breeze gently flowing
did not allow her to get up.
Stretching her arms long
and yawning widely
she cuddled herself in the bed
pulling her quilt over
No call awaiting her in the early hours
except a few business work
which would begin only after 10 a.m
she closing her eyes lay on her bed
for a while and then with great effort
got up to get herself ready
for the day in her own time.
Ageing gives certain comfort
and relaxation which otherwise
would have been stoutly opposed.
As we grow old our speed also
gets slowed down to a tone
where mellowing down to a
maturity and understanding
that develops into a patience
and tolerance and finally
into a serenity.

Song of Inebriate

The piping hot food
and the blowing hot wind
and a sweltering heat around
gave a perspiration tremendous

Accustomed to eating hot
the food burnt the tongue
making it quite painful
and presenting an uneasiness.

The breeze that ran through
penetrated through the cheeks
making it angry red
diffusing a pretty discomfort.

The exhuming temperature
rose to novel heights
tending to get with sweat
distributing an unbearable warmth.

With the hot palate
and a hot temperate
along with a hot rebate
ending up as a song of inebriate

Rains Think.

The rains do not come down
They stand up without falling
They think as to fall or not.
Thinking they stand atop without falling
Thinking a lot they move away from the slot.
Leaving the land down below to rot
and the people to walk long for a pot of water.

Right in front
was a man with grunt
expressing a brunt.

Right at back
was a man in black
lying on slack.

Right on side
was a man on ride
going on stride.

Right on top
was a man standing atop

was a man not shallow

A Mismatch Loving To Watch

Forty years ago
it was a mismatch
loving to watch
and hard to snatch
being a good catch.
He being tall
slim and handsome
She with a medium height
and a sturdy built
with an impressive spark
He walking through
in stride long
she taking quick short steps
He taking life as it comes
she going about with a fervour
he an introvert
within the family
She a stalwart
in the inner circle.
Hee moved with ease with the people around
where she had her own limitations
to get along with facility
He thinks much about himself
and it was always the “I”
that comes first
She loves her family giving it a priority
especially to her children and their welfare
pushing the “I” behind.
The two have been holding hands together
not for one or two years
but for forty long years
bearing children and incidentally
giving way to grand children
away they go in mirth
hand in hand
with a quip and a skip
with anger and joy
all mixed in one go
They move forward in life
with the hope of
getting away together very quick.

The Challenge.

It was a peculiar event
crossing me by chance
without any real access
never intended to participate
as I never knew about it
but pulled in by a strange force
wherein it came i do not know
but it put me in the middle
blinking widely with my large eyes.
without knowing what to do
without understanding how to proceed
got into the milieu
and presided over the event
uttering something
relevant or irrelevant
I know not but got through it
with an ease and completed it
with a comfort never once fumbling
Well, a gift I possess
to get over any eventuality without difficulty.
The experience taught me a well designed philosophy
that to meet the challenge with a bite
you are sure to emerge triumphant.
