With The Stars


It is night already

going pitch dark all over

gazing at the skies

I wonder with a thought

the stars flicker with  light

laughing  with a grin

making the dark wonderful

there be  little sparkles

that go with the twinkle

yellow light spreading  all over

illuminating the dreary

what a contrast they offer

I sit in wonder

wonder be the word

tha comes again and again

for I find no wonders

that would fit appropriately

that illustrate the dark night

with a sparkling light

Well, with another wonder

I propose to ask you

my little stars yonder

how long had you been there

not getting worn out

never getting tired

not at all in an exertion

well, that makes me ponder

comparing myself with you

getting all the more exhausted

becoming an old woman

having lived well over five decades

wishing to submerge with you

would you take me there?

exalted in a sublime status

exhibiting brilliance and shine

Could I be as ebullient as you over there ?

Oh! stars let me know

so that I could pack my bags

and rise up to you.

Ugh! the word wonder strikes again

Will I ? would I?

Hate And Grasp


Hate she says
Grasp not entirely he feels
where do the hate and grasp come ?
it being a simple thing as such
talking about the images (46)pent-up anger
that rises up and flies on all sides
making him stagger and looking daggers
his anger gets clustered on the nose’s edge
revealing a ghastly sight and demeanour
this brings in a hatred in her
not full understanding for him
after expressing it so bitterly
they come with apologies
falling from the mouth
and putting forth a big sorry
which brings in a lowly
demeaning attitude
when there being words
soft and sullen really
the way they gave out
created a displeasure
that of great despair.

Anger On Nose Tip.


The anger sits on the nose
rather on the tip of the nose
with the cartilage bloating
and the bridge rising
the nose twitches for no reason
as if it has smelt a treason
the mouth then enters the game
spitting out words lame
cursing images (45) and stinging all through
like to get away from such men
teaching them a lesson then
should be undertaken without fear
as otherwise they would go in a square.

hyphens  and full stops all the functions

with the adjectives qualifying the nouns

adverbs modifying the verbs

one giving the quality of the person or being

as the other enunciates the verb with a sting

the verb becoming the nerve center

while the  noun stands out  as a mentor

so goes the writing and language

all smoothly through the ages

without a hurdle and a  fall out

holding the language high

making it shine and fly.language structure

The Boil


Boiling over the kettle
whistled all in a settle
puffing and pushing
the steam escaping
through the gap
the heat is in a trap
if closed perfect
could bring effects
that would work out great
so do the heart
with its feelings in chart
would rise up and burst
if let in a with a fret
that be properly redeemed
would go down  in the steam
and fizzle out in no time
bringing good chimes.

The Malls And Shops


The shops do roll  out

fascinations great and lovely

with a host of new arrivals

and a stock of  traditional

catering to the category

that of fashionable and customary

inviting  customers old and new

caring for them with full heart

extending a warm cordiality

that be lacking in malls

where  sales  become mechanical

with sales persons work for commissions

that be more the volume of images (44)images (43) sales

there be increase in their pay pack

as money takes the cue with strength

the one to one affinity gets back

just a mechanical process

bereft of  gestures fine.

The day That Is


The day turns out to be one of vain

as people go bragging for gain

going by the words  not true

standing out for things that grew

on a soil  laden by lies

as these lies get ahead in tries

bringing  fortunes to those

who  like to reap in a chose

with benefits much and great

as wealth brings fame too

a comfort that none other could buy

The Toil


The sweat goes without saying

through the throng in a going

with only a few being occupied

the rest remain satisfied

enjoying the fruits of the hard-working

passing comments without  reckoning

not doing things at all in the move

but  kidding over that being done with a reprove

building over the perspiration of those who do

finally ejecting them out from the main stream in a go

that has been the fate of those who toil

not leaving anything in the midst of the boil

tending with great care and attention

really getting nothing back only detention.

The Foil


The foil  thin and transparent

  could be seen through  being apparent

having a silvery shine and glow

the tenacity it has in a flow

could hold all things in one go

be it heavy, light, mild or sticky in row

never giving out its content

closely holding them with intent

an easy  pack to carry in hand

essentially disposable when thrown in sand

that is what we human do unmindful

discarding that has served us in full

never a thought crosses and holds back

down it goes into the drain  all into the track

clogging the outlets thick and stock

that has taken me away from the talk

about the foil in the regular run

it is always my way not in fun

coming back to the topic in short

have to conclude thus in a  bought tin-foil

the foil though being very meagre in merit

has a lot to be sung to its credit.

Thorn In Flesh


The thought of inconvenience 

and the feel for convenience

runs deep in my heart

not causing trouble to others

not allowing to be troubled by others

might sound not pragmatic to mos

but that be put to test

would make me a stiff contender

perhaps would be the best defender

as I pursue the policy straight

never deviating to left or right

initiating a sensitiveness

that of great decisiveness

never being a thorn inimages (41) any one’s flesh

but be a flower tender all over the mesh

never trying to prick them insensibly

but attempting to comfort them sensibly

that be my way all throughout

that might echo a bash in and out.
