Tales Keep You Awake


Once upon a time there lived,

So starts the tale vivid,

Telling stories that appear rigid,

Provoking the listener to a frigid.

 

 

Once upon a time there was,

The story  opens up  with the cause,

Narrating incidents that induces a toss,

Presenting a terrific clause.

 

 

Once upon a time  a  King ruled,

The tale keeps us pulled,

Initiating a depiction in absolute build,

Proposing a grandeur   thoroughly filled .

 

 

Once upon a time  people were merry,

So the story glides  effortlessly like a fairy,

Creating an assiduous  cherry,

Imparting a belief that life is now dreary.

 

 

Long long ago the  story unfolds ,

To an age of long time holds,

Impelling a strain of sequence in moulds,

Forcing a vigil as the episode rolls.

Through The Gateway


The ways to deal with hardships are many,

The methods   to overcome them are many,

The desire to fight with them are many,

The final victory will get accolades many.

 

 

As there are ways to surpass the evil,

There are means to silence the devil,

As there are modes to arrest the uprise civil

There are trends to stop the revolt with will.

 

 

Massacres  are committed through the gateway,

Terrorism  passes through the gateway,

Thieves slip through the gateway,

Bomb blasts break through the gateway.

 

 

Yet gateways are also entry to find operations,

Ships from  far away glide through after observation,

The thoroughfare goes up and down with ordination,

The giant clocks ring and tick during oscillations .

 

 

Gateways expose  the country’s progress ,

At times they pose a danger to the progress,

At times they also accelerate the prospective progress,

The inward and outward do  rejuvenate and hamper the progress.

Threats in an Unknown Land.


Living away from home is a strain,

It is nevertheless an exhaustive drain,

Enduring the solitude  with a decorative feign,

Days roll slowly without any gain.

Adding up to the misery of living  away

There arises  series of threats every day,

The burglary in the neighbourhood  keeps  us at bay,

The murder in the marketplace turns us gray.

Holding the breath  with great fear,

Panting heavily in a desolate gear,

Hiding with  concern in the rear,

Waiting for the ultimatum in a shaky queer.

To gather courage one needs steps severe,

To face the threat  one requires boldness near,

To thwart the  danger  one should possess bravery  dear,

To emerge successful one  should display strength revere.

Threats are   very much present at home too,

They do exist in the surroundings too,

But the solace of having the loved ones besides too,

Sends a plausible security with much trust too.

A Mutiny


A revolt among the powerful,

Dethroning and sacking the rightful,

Establishing and settling the unlawful,

Is a mutiny in general.

 

 

A conspiracy in privacy,

Hatching a plot in secrecy,

Executing the ploy in efficiency.

Is a mutiny in particular.

 

 

Sometimes mutiny  releases good,

As it uproots the rude,

Brings in the shrewd,

Is a mutiny special.

 

Most times mutiny despatches illegality,

As it usurps the legality,

Paving the way to  infirmity,

Is Mutiny in regular.

 

Upheavals are not to be  discarded,

When  they entrust a  record,

For the uplift of the have-nots.

Is a mutiny  in distinction.

 

Protests are to be applauded,

When they are  for the downtrodden,

Relieving the hearts saddened,

Is a mutiny  in grace.

Adventurous With Food


Daring in your undertakings is adventure,

Fearless  of hazards is also adventure,

Meandering through   dense forest is more than an adventure.

Eating dogs soup in Korea is none the less an adventure.

 

 

Food is for sustenance first not for adventure,

Eating is a necessity never a luxury nor an adventure,

The manner you eat shows your behaviour  not your skill in  adventure,

The things you eat delves on your nature never on your risk for adventure.

 

 

Tell me your friend ,I will tell you who you are

It is also  what you eat that tells  who you are,

The veggies we eat  signify a class of who we are.

The  meat of pig and dog  expose a breed who we are.

 

 

Adventures are dangerous and challenging true,

Adventures in life is to be undertaken in few true,

Adventures consisting of daring events can be appreciated true,

Never will anyone admire consuming food by killing animals is true.

A Distraction -Much Found


  Extravagance  in behaviour is commonly known .

Exaggeration in speech   is freely borne,

Much ado about nothing  is explicitly shown

Building castles in the air is mostly  blown,

Emphasises  the fallacy of rattling in a possible zone.

 

.

 

Heard an incessant talk  of a friend  in  earnest,

He  did   addition , multiplication   as though in a test,

Beaming with pride  after valuing his assets best,

Holding his head high starts his soliloquy in fine fest,

As though there are none to overtake him lest.

 

His mind is full off empty   jibes  frivolous

His thoughts bear  bare  ideas nefarious,

His wealth shows a  glittering  malicious,

His prosperity confines to his close nexus,

It  spreads not to any other act gracious.

 

Haughty he  be  in his interaction,

Cold he be  in his presentation,

Unfair  he be  in  his distribution

Callous  he be  in his perception,

Oh! My friend ,I pity your  distraction.

Catches And Bites


The catches are literally less harming,

The bites are virtually most destroying.

Catches and bites are really tantalizing.

 

 

A gentle catch  reflects a loving,

A rude catch gives out a warning,

That much for the face value of catching.

 

 

Catch has a distinct meaning as well,

The ploy and the trick  are unfolding,

 A signal   for attention in no mean  calling.

 

 

The plan has a quick catch,

The talk proposes a discreet catch,

As the stab indicates a terrible catch.

 

 

 A severe bite shows anger,

A moderate bite expresses  bad temper,

But never they are  of pleasing fibre.

 

 

 Bites propound a disaster as well,

The indignation and cruelty  explode 

A warning for a catastrophe in the fold.

 

 

Scheming has violent bites,

Shattering  all to  tatters and  bites,

Ransacking the existence to a morbid bite.

 

 

Catches and bites leave us desperate,

Lending  an air   of exasperate ,

Never an occasion  to reverberate.
