When desire exceeds all bounds.
It echoes through all sounds.
It wants this being a new-found.
It wishes that belonging to an antique.
Where to go and get? from the attic.
If so it is easy.
Just a climb and a pull.
Not being so it is demanding.
Taking it rather to the limitations
Desire is a cheat and very expensive
It leads to a longing and a fret
that almost promotes a craving.
Attaining it becomes a necessity.
To achieve it is
a straight clamber
pushing back all other things
and getting the predominance.
Desire turns into a pursuit disastrous
bothering the peace and contentment.

The Wish Of A Pond.
Little over there, there was
a pond full of fish
which had a lovely wish
that would sound rare.
The wish was very simple
only wanting water in surplus
all the time nevertheless
it should not trickle.
The pond’s wish was granted
It had water to the brim
making people to swim
a liveliness thus enacted.
As years rolled by
an evil eye fell on the pond
as it had to go through a bond
accordingly sales went by.
The pond was levelled,
It was divided into plots
sold by casting ballots
The pond lay dead.
Sky scrapers came in
with twenty to thirty floors
Houses went high up not in rows
creating a bustle and a noisy din
The wish of the pond still
remained alive as told
that it began to flood
as the rain water started to fill.
The inhabitants had a hard day
blocking the water’s entry
with sand bags acting as sentry
struggling to divert its way.
Going by the incidence
felt that offending nature
leads to a terrible torture
causing a situation beyond resistance
It was an anger.
It was a justifiable anger,
directed on those not meagre
who created a disaster
spoiling the environment to a shudder,
destroying the ambience to a bother
causing enmity in an hour
speaking foul with a fervour
disrespecting all with rigour
breaking rules with a hammer,
ignoring discipline in a trigger
indulging in unlawful acts with a deceit clever.
engaged in stealing with a devour,
involved in cheating with a smart demeanour,
accepting bribes with an amour,
conniving and conspiring with a lilting temper,
spreading unrest with a flavour
carrying on illicit trades almost ever,
letting out a smoke of pernicious danger.
It resembles a recreation.
It creates a distraction.
It releases delicate emotions.
Impatiently the soberity arrives.
Delivering pleasurable tries.
Dispassionate it might appear.
Disproportionate it might send fear.
Disaster it might lay bare.
Digression it might take care.
Writing has become a passion.
Know not for what reason.
Writing has become a fusion.
Embracing all times and seasons.
A few lines a day gives an impetus.
Thoughts lead to words in full tempest.
Words move towards expressions in haste.
Expressions give birth to creation in taste.
That is how the work of art attains its finality
Allowing the audience to a revel in gravity.
Succumbing to the beauty in totality.
Cherishing the masterpiece of creativity.

Red roses and yellow poppies toss in the air,
The white jasmine and pink lotus dazzle over,
The wet green grass and the hedges shine across,
A pleasant fragrance slides and engulfs the environ.
The Camphor trees and Benzoin trees stand erect,
The Mango and Neem trees spread their branches,
The Coconut and Palmyra tree grow upright,
A scintillating fragrance flips out and embraces the environ.
The atmosphere thus weighs heavily with aroma,
Pleasing the nostrils and embalming the mind,
Rejuvenating the spirit and filling up the heart,
The fragrance brings out a significant joy.
Now
Smoke from vehicles and fire cling close,
Dust and fumes create a suffocating choke,
Bothering the lungs and the respiratory track,
A carbon emission that needs to be condemned.
Modern trend is to inhale impure air,
Trees ,flowers and hedges are relics of the past,
The pale dry brown has overwhelmed the lively shining green,
Paving way to a stifling ,strangling disaster.
Energy Woes
Detecting various forms of energy,
Man settles down carefully,
As his inventions take care,
He rests in great comfort,
While all his necessities are attended to,
By electrical, thermal, and nuclear energies,
Keeping him cool during summer,
Giving him warmth in winter,
Aiding him in industrial production,
Helping him in domestic errands,
He relaxes in utmost peace,
Until a disaster strikes,
With the disruption of all conventions,
The electricity snaps,
Plunging the world in darkness,
The thermal supply at service
Both in good and bad times
Spreads environmental hazard,
While the nuclear plant,
Erupts with a break of radiation,
That keeps him maimed and cancer prone,
Prolonging it to generations,
Promoting a fatal mishap,
Inducting a slow killing ,
And a painful suffering,
Making us think twice,
Whether the man-made feats,
Are worthy or not?
Nature Rocks

Tsunami in Japan kills hundreds,
Quake in Christ Church gobbles hundreds,
Floods devour hundreds,
Storms sweep hundreds,
Heat wave burns hundreds.
Ten hundreds make thousands,
Thousands runs to millions,
Nature terrified by human activity,
Has lost its evenly poised equanimity,
Shakes and shudders, subsides and overflows,
Cracks and crackles, breaks and shatters,
Fumes and boils , pours and spills,
Tantalising the earthly review,
Overturning the worldly sphere,
Into bits and pieces,
Into rags and tatters,
Throwing the human race ,
Out of gear,
mangling and crippling,
Paralysing and trying,
Trains disappear,
Ships sink,
Cars float,
Houses fall,
Malls crumble,
Nuclear Power stations leak,
Adding woe to misery,
Loss becomes desolation,
Suffering ends ,
As death knocks the door.
Green Revolution
Green revolution was first introduced in Mexico in 1945. It allowed food production to keep pace with population growth.Social and ecology affectations were found in excess .
India was in brink of famine. The green revolution ,was brought into effect by the agricultural scientist M.S. Swaminathan. Rice yields per hectare multiplied thrice , four times in India. Wheat also grew abundantly in Punjab. The revolution was a grand success. India achieved a satisfying mark in the production of agricultural yield.
This was made possible, by the usage of pesticides, fertilisers , and irrigation techniques. The soil which had been treated with natural manure, like cow dung, goat and hen excreta, dried waste received from the degrading disposable, like vegetable left overs, molasses, coconut exteriors, reacted superbly when meted out with this chemical compounds. The production of rice ,wheat and maize rose in leaps . The farmer’s delight elevated in bounds.
The prosperous progress was in high swing for three or more decades. The reverse osmosis is attacking the glory with ardent fervour and resounding vigour. The land, which has obeyed Man’s command, is rebelling in animated violence. The fecundity of the resources has been wickedly spoilt by the reckless practice administered by the principles of Green Revolution. The artificial nutrition applied to the soil has robbed the reproductive capacity of the land. The out put is a contaminated content of chemicals. The consumer is exposed to this ill founded extravaganza. He ,unknowingly partakes food which is a wholesome product of pesticides , nitrates, sulphates, and phosphates. Unwittingly , he succumbs to the gruesome threat. He loses his immunity. He contrives diseases which are highly detrimental.
The green revolution is a short span recovery , which ultimately turned into a ruthless endeavour ravaging the provider and the consumer.
Mom In Tears.
When you beget a child, the happiness is so overpowering ,that you forget the pain during labour and the toil you endure during all the ten months of pregnancy. Seeing your child for the first time,is a bliss that is inexplicable, a joy that cannot be expressed ..Fondling the child for the first time, nestling her close to you, caressing her body, running the fingers through her hair , holding her tightly, are all experiences that cannot be put in words. A poet, while describing the mother’s nascent desire may miss the most intimate feelings. A scupltor, while carving the figure of a mother with a new born child, may unknowingly slip to create the mother’s intricate affection A painter , while sketching the new born with the doting mother errs a little in portraying the sweet smothering elation .Such a wonderful loveliness prevails over this beautiful bondage.
Taitasi Fitiao, ran to her daughter,s school in Samaon islands ,early Tuesday, when an earthquake shook the terrain, as the magnitude was violent , -8.0.She caught hold of Valjorefa, took a few steps. The wave got them, the child let go the mother’s hand. She floated away , crying “Mom, please”. The mother stood watching her youngest daughter drifting away, floating in the terrible waves.
The next day , they found her in her school backpack and uniform. The mother could not believe that her daughter was dead. The child lay in the school uniform. The family plans to bury her with her uniform, her notebooks, crayons and backpack, as she loved her school much.
Tragedy strikes with unknown strength, with unbelievable force, from unexpected quarters. The child is gone forever. The mom is in tears, which will dry in course of the day, but the grief is so enamouring ,so consuming and so stifling
A part of Taitaisi Fitiao has floated with her pretty daughter.
Land Of Sorrow
A country of 17508 islands ,Indonesia is the world’s largest archipelago, stretching from mainland south east Asia.It is the fourth populous country in the world.
Cikangkareng , a village about 60 miles fromJakarta, suffered a huge landslide ,after the week’s powerful earthquake in West Java. The mound of rocks and soil piled up in quick succession, that relatives find it hard to clear the debris.
The sight of pathetic dismay, unobtrusively developed into a scene of tourist attraction.People from neighbouring villages came in trucks and motor bikes to take photos of a this ghastly tragic site.
Death is a great leveller , quoths Shakespeare in his tragedy Hamlet..Even Kings are subject to death. , But , have you ever heard that Death is a great fascination. Nay , never, you shake your head vigorously . But , I firmly disagree with you.Death provokes fun, induces joy, resumes satisfaction, as professed in the landslide in a small hamlet in Indonesia.
The country is situated in the volcanic belt around the equator. It is susceptible to earthquakes on and off, and millions of people are rendered homeless, lose their lives. The people live in eternal fear, perennial apprehension, so that the joy of living is a totally absent.
