with the adjectives qualifying the nouns
adverbs modifying the verbs
one giving the quality of the person or being
as the other enunciates the verb with a sting
the verb becoming the nerve center
while the noun stands out as a mentor
so goes the writing and language
all smoothly through the ages
without a hurdle and a fall out
holding the language high
making it shine and fly.
The thrill and excitement
that prevailed so long
had suddenly disappeared
emanating from the dealings
with people knowing very little
yet posing defiant and knowledgeable
supporting their arguments
with facts and figures
appropriate to their own terms
befitting their own reliability
Once, to the great surprise
brought a carton of accounts to court
written for years together
accounted in a language
not familiar to the land
where the judges and the officials
know that there exists a language
but know not a word of it
Seeing them carry up and down
was a scene of absolute ridicule
but to them it was an authentic presentation
illustrating their genuinity and business acumen
being a melodrama conducted by their solicitor.
Now,the curtains have been pulled down
and with that the excitement has vanished.
The language being a medium
it being a way of communication
going deep into the tedium
with its structural compositions
as grammar and its rules effective
with extensive punctuations
give it a straight course active
enabling a follow without deviations
restricting any little disturbance
going on with the set principles
that give it a distant appearance
with a practice being strict and steady
subjecting the language to a remote code
creating a difficulty totally incomprehensible
wherein the language loses its charm and flow
while bizarre elements find their way
depriving the language of its chastity
making it a homogenous mixture of colloquialism
as everyone and all others could speak with ease
while writing still commands a discipline and stability.
A for apple points out the little girl in cheer
B for ball shouts another little one in gear.
So goes the identification of alphabets without fear.
The child learns the language as years fold.
Mastering the language she achieves a status gold.
Her observations bring out a lively union.
while apple and ball fall back into the oblivion.
Christ is held in high esteem by Christians with no substitution.
Shiva holds the sway over the Hindus of Saivite tradition.
Vishnu adds fervour to an Hindu sect of another definition.
Hinduism abounds in infinite nomenclature.
Mohamed is the renowned prophet of Islamic culture
Buddha is the originator of Buddhism.
Religions find their way assuring multi fold ism
Apple and ball make the child to recognise letters
as they are necessary for the young mind to rise above fetters.
Facilitating a learning with a skill to analyse better.
Holy scriptures make Man to derive truth from the tenets
The idols are like patrolling sergeants reprimanding the erring tenants.
They provide him with a comprehensive enrichment in the strike.
Singing rhymes and hymns deliver grace to child and Man alike
As alphabets form the basis of language in general
idols personify “Truth” in specific annals
As language clads the ideas with links careful
truth discovers the ideals through distinctions lawful
Knowledge calls for dedication and sincerity
as truth eulogizes the righteous and shuns infidelity.
So it goes “Truth” is religion and God is “Truth”.
Mind your language.
It reflects your lineage.
It gives you a leverage.
Mind your anger.
It talks of you in meagre
It lasts longer.
Mind your behaviour.
It illustrates your interior.
It delivers a profound exterior.
Mind your pride.
It takes you for a ride.
It dwells within your hide.
Mind your desire.
It evolves an aspire.
It diffuses into an ire.
Mind your attire.
It might infer a satire.
It spreads an admire.
Mind yourself in the world.
It is the perfect road.
It would lead you to heights untold.
The little one asked “What is old age?”
It is an age which tries to free from all bondage,
An age, which gets distracted from all outage,
An age, which communicates through a silent language.
As the day closes into dusk
As peace leads to an exhilaration always,
Youth enters the old
age with a grace,
Strings of grey hair are seen in a trace.
